Stayed there for 3 nights with my bf - there was a little problem in the booking system but the staff was very helpful and we solved it out. They even upgraded us for the matter. Excellent view and location with a very good service and staff is very helpful. Will definitely go back!

Some of the rooms are very small and would merit a little upgrade, but this remains a very nice hotel, perfectly located, with friendly staff, and a great view from the rooftop breakfast restaurant in the morning. In fact, when you see where this is located, you don't mind a small room, all you need is a clean comfortable bed,... More

Great location. Wonderful staff. Great rooftop restaurant room. The breakfast food was nice - not terribly exciting, but definitely nice. The view was incredible and a wonderful way to start the day. The room itself was extremely small. There was not room to put any clothes away. Limited hanger space. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is located between Taksim... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Charming and centrally located, the staff were friendly and terrific. The balcony bar/dining area has amazing views and is a great place to just sit and look out at the City. The hotel is in a former single family mansion that has been converted. The rooms are small, but nicely done... More

The Galata Antique is a quaint old hotel. The staff are very nice and most try to be helpful. We had the only room with a balcony which was great but we had really poor WIFI, so had to sit on the stairs to send emails which seemed to take forever and at times couldn't upload photos. The room was... More

My wife and I stayed at the Galata Antique Hotel for 4 nights from 9/8/14 to 9/12/14. We are in our mid sixties. The staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating. The room was clean with a decent view, although a little small. Breakfast on the roof top terrace was excellent. Good selection of foods, including cereals, breads, cheeses, yogurt, fruit... More

Extremely unprofessional staff, malfunctioning elevator&shower, electricity in the entire hotel went off few times without warning (no generator) and thus no hot water, no phone, no internet and no AC on a hot summer day. When complained, staff and front desk manager was rude and unprofessional. Horrible experience, save yourself the experience and stay somewhere else!

It's true that the location is perfect and the views from the breakfast room are wonderful. The service was kind but a little off, especially by the breakfast attendants who were, well, goofy. Our room was clean but after a quick look around the breakfast room I decided to not look too closely. We were there six nights and while... More

We spent 3 nights in this hotel in July and we weren't satisfied. Location is just perfect , 1 minute walk from Istikal street and just in front of the Tunel with perfect connection to the tram line to Sultanhamet and to the major sightseeing ,however the hotel didn't match our expectations, our room , a standard one , was... The location was perfect 100m from Isticlal street. Very friently staff. It's a small boutique hotel with great interior design. We recommend this place for sure, and if we will come again to Istanbul we 'll choose the same hotel! Anthony and Lydia from Athens,Greece
