Used this hotel for a first visit to Istanbul - easy location within walking distance of all historic places in old city and tram plus ferries - shops, pharmacy, banks and many eating places. Go to Hoca Pacsa street (2 minutes) and eat cheap and good where also locals go (try the Ozbolu restaurant -

Seres Hotel is definitely a great pick during your stay in Istanbul. The location is just perfect, Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and the palaces are within walking distance and you have lots of restaurants and bars around. If you want to go further (Taksim etc.) you should take the Tram (5 minute walk). Staff was friendly and welcoming, our room... More

The hotel was on a tram route, which made locating it in a strange city very easy. It was reasonably central for a number of things we wanted to see in Istanbul. It was comfortable and they did actually cater for my gluten free diet without any fuss or bother.

Enjoyed a three day stay here in April 2015. Surely the best feature of this hotel is the restaurant with its stunning views! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was basic but clean. Street noise can be a problem from the trams that run past the front door so the higher floors will be quieter.

The hotel is situated in a good position, the staff is very kindly and helpful. Breakfast is good but there isn't any type of croissants or something sweet ( cookies, cakes , etc. )breakfast room is located on the top floor of the building with an amazing view. The room is nice and clean but nothing special .

The best part about this hotel is the location. Just minutes walk away from the Tram Station, the Metro Station as well as from many historical sites, and also the spice bazaar and grand bazaar, this is the perfect place for someone who is visiting Istanbul for the first time. The Staff is mostly friendly and speak fairly good english... More

We stayed in Seres Hotel with our friends in September. He had a room on 6th floor facing Bosphorus. Room was beyond our expectations, view was nice(especially during night time). A hotel which gives you value for money while staying walking distance from the historical old world famous Istanbul sites. Liked the clean rooms and variety in the breakfast buffet. You can walk to several historical sites and save on travel costs. The tram runs in front of the hotel and also provides for drop to the airport by mini-bus... More
