We book 2 single room from ratestogo website and pay 30 Euro as deposite. We need to pay for 88 Euro at the hotel. When we arrived, we are surprised that the booking was canceled without any notice. It was in Easter period. They said that the room was full so they can give us one double room with the... more

My husband and I spend 4 nights in the AND Hotel in may 2009 - the location could not have been better, the AND is situated in a small street 100 m from Hagia Sophia and near by the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace - and Tram stop. Our room was basic and very small, but it did not matter... more

I stayed at And Hotel in a double room in August 2009. It was the starting hotel for our Geckos tour through turkey. The location was fantastic. Literally a minute walk from Aya Sofia & the Basicila Cistern is across the road. It's a nice walk down to the bars and bosphurus or you can take the tram which stops... more

Stayed for a long weekend in November. The hotel was OK although a bit tired. Staff friendly and spoke reasonable English. We arrived in a torrential downpour with no electricity! We were shown to our room on the fifth floor where the window had blown open and the rain was gusting in. A candle was provided! In the morning, the... more

My friend and I stayed at the and hotel for seven nights in June and were very happy throughout our stay. We had a free airport evening pick-up which was waiting for us and check in was easy and stress free. We went up to the restaurant terrace and the views were amazing. After sneaking a peak from other hotel terraces... more

We moved here to begin a tour. Very average room with dippy mattresses and tired feel. No friendly gathering space for travellers to chat in. Over priced in comparison with the Side pension on the other side of Sultanhamet. Wonder if it hadn't been the tour operator making the booking for the extra couple of days after the tour ended... more

The hotel has a great location in Sultanahmet. It has a nice restaurant at the 6th floor with a superb view of Istanbul: the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the riverside etc. The staff was professional and friendly. The room where we stayed was clean but old, bathroom was ok but with some ants. For the price we paid (45 euro... more

We stayed here for 24 hours in August 2007. "We" means my wife and I, together with our 18 year-old daughter. we had a triple room on the 5th floor and paid 99 euros - with breakfast and free pickup from the airport. The pickup worked fine, and the check-in was painless. We arrived early, and the room was made... more

My friend and I stayed at the AND Hotel because our tour began and ended there and we were very disappointed. When we arrived late at night we were told that there were no rooms available (even though we had a booking) and were taken to their 'sister' hotel around the corner. This room was absolutely tiny, plaster fell down... more
