The hotel is situated in a central place facing the Golden Horn making it easy to access many places of interest. The rooms are clean with good views if you are lucky enough to be at the front of the hotel. On our tour we stayed on two occasions, at the beginning and for the last night so we experienced... More

The rest of the reviews are pretty consistent with mine. Good location, decent hotel, small rooms, clean. We were on a tour so I don't know the room price, but drinks at dinner were reasonable for Turkey hotels. Street noise was unbelievable if facing the Golden Horn, but the shutting the window solved that problem. We were there in cooler... More

As others have pointed out, very good location for upscale pedestrian street (shopping and restaurants) and for crossing the bridge into the historic portion of the city. Beautiful view on the street/water side as well. Sener (night clerk) was particularly helpful with getting TV back working and recommendations for dining. Morning buffet is very good. Also reasonable price for amenities... More

The hotel was cozy and pleasent, with a very nice breakfast buffet.. Staff are helpful, dedicated and friendly :) As for the location, it's the hotel's best feature :) a 1 minute walk away from both the bus and metro stations..5 mins walk from istiklal street and 10 mins walk away from the tramway also :) so you can easily enjoy... This hotel was included as part do a tour that I did of Turkey - so no choice really for me but if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay in Istanbul - forget this. It's right on the main road and when you enter the Reception area - all you can smell is sewage. Surely they could burn... More

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are really sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your stay in our hotel. The sewage smell at the reception area which is near the entrance is not originating from our hotel . Unfortunately, that is a common problem... More

"Grand" is an over-statement. Compact clean rooms. Tired plain wood decor with damages to the floor, crooked power points, unpredictable air con. Only one English TV channel BBC-News. No kettle, tissues, water. Modern bathroom though. Breakfast edible, but sloppy salty scrambled eggs and tinned fruit when Turkey produces the best fresh fruit. Friendly staff especially Ibrahim on front desk. Good... More
