My friend and I stayed at this hotel in Feb. 2014 Nothing was wrong, the room was perfect and the bathroom was very clean, blank sheets looked like new! The breakfast was also great, it changed everyday. Location is also awesome, a few meters to the Metro station (Şişane) and just some steps to the Bus station. And also very... More

This place was just what I needed, the location is 15 minutes away from Taksim square and about 7 minutes away from Istiklal street. It is located next to traffic lights so it is easy to remember its exact location. The food is great and the staff are nice.

It is one of a good hotel.Nice staffs clean rooms with all facilities.Rooms are small but well arranged. It is close to the Taxim square only half km up walk.It is very easy to have buses to the blue mosque. If we can have a room upstairs it won't be noisy.

Stayed in this hotel for a week during June 2015. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The receptionists were fluent in English. So we had no problem communicating with them. Our room was clean. Of course there was this big black burn spot on the hardwood floor! Maybe a souvenir from a smoker who had stayed there before us!... More

Very good hotel with polite and helpful staff. Very convenient, close to the subway station. Also in a walking distance to Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. Wonderful breakfast and great Turkish bath.

Actually I had read a loooooot of negative comments about this hotel; I went there with zero expectation and I was surprised to see it was the reverse. Despite the small size of the room, it was very clean and tidy, both the sheets of bed and the toilet.the staff are very kind and helpful, specially in giving you the... More

The room is clean and roomy by European standards (the bath is a bonus) but... Language difficulty and unhelpful staff was enough to change hotels. At one point I couldn't even order a coffee. No I'm not joking, obviously pointing to what I was trying to convey from the menu wasn't enough. The impression I got was that it seemed... More

Stayed here on 2 different nights. Firstly it is in a good location for travel on public transport or even walking around all the main sites. The frontage overlooks the Golden Horn and the evening views from the front are superb but sadly our 2 different rooms were at the back with little or no view. The worst thing about... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
