This hotel is in a good location however the hotel is poor. My room was not too clean. There were hairs under the pillows and the quilt needed a clean- many stains. The staff were not very friendly and when I arrived a customer was asking to be moved because his room was disgusting - the worst he had ever... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, we booked in the hotel, but we were given bigger rooms in the Hippodrome Apart as they were empty. My brother booked a single room, but they upgraded him to a double room with a balcony with wonderful sea views free of charge. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, they made our stay... More

The reception is a small office in two or three buildings away from the "rooms". The restaurant is basically a pub that is located a few buildings away from the "rooms". The Rooms. Too tight. Too expensive. The room is smelly. The carpets were rotten and black. We booked for a suit and we got a very tiny room and... More

We spent 2 nights in a double room that was a really small budget room that looks an NOTHING like the pics on the web. The breakfast is over the road on the terrace at a sister hotel (?) and also looks NOTHING like the pice on the web. The saving grace is that it is in a GREAT spot... More

Like all the other visitors at this hotel, they moved us to another room. The room and service was really good but for that price is was not worth it. The place is really close to sultanahmet and the hagia sophia mosque.

We've stayed here before and were happy to return on a flight+hotel package from BA. We stayed in the hotel's apartments - across the road from the main hotel, and these have been updated since our last visit; double-glazing reduces any road noise, and the bathrooms have been updated. Also found the aircon quiter than in many more modern hotels.... More

We were moved from Azade Premier nearby due to reservation issue. They sent us over to Hippodrome and unbeknownst to us, they have no terrace or bfast (we had to go back to the Azade for those facilities!) They were nice to try and get us a larger room (we needed a triple) so they put us in family room.... More

The staff of the Hippodrome was very friendly and accommodating, the room clean, and the hotel well located in Sultanahmet just three blocks from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Plenty of fine restaurants within a block, and a handy tram station just minutes away. Breakfast buffet was excellent, affording a view of the Sea of Marmara.

My wife and I went for three nights at the Hippodrome and when we got there, we were given a twin bed room. The room was fine, but separate beds was not what we asked for (they told us we asked for a double room, not a double bed in ‘Special Instructions’). We informed then staff and they moved us... More
