This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The staff throughout our 5 night stay were wonderfully helpful, always with a smile and always willing to advise on sight seeing in the city, even booking tours for us at a reduced rate. The hotel... This is a small boutique hotel in the Sultanahmet district that puts many of the major historical sights within 5-10 minutes walking distance. The staff is outstanding, friendly and helpful. The tram to other sites such as the Spice Market is also within easy walking distance. Port is about 15-20 minute cab ride in case you are taking a cruise.... More

I chose this hotel based on its location and price point- both of which are excellent, but the main attraction are the friendly and helpful staff-nothing is too much trouble, AZIZ the front of house guest relations person was so helpful with advice on almost everything and helped a lot with planning and resataurant choices , all arranged over a... Very good location in sultanhamet area. Walkable distance to majority of the sights around. Staff are the real key to this hotel. Very helpful and friendly. I made some really good friends with the hotel staff. Definitely a good place to stay with or without family. To find the hotel if you are new like to to the country or... More

This hotel is located just below the Hippodrome in the old city. Spacious rooms with a very friendly and welcoming staff. Typical Turkish breakfast is served on the top floor with great views looking out on the Marmara Sea. Good location, clean hotel, but nothing really special.

We spent 4 nights at the Erguvan hotel and apart from a couple of minor complaints found it to be the perfect base. The minor complaints are that we found the air con difficult to work, and breakfast wasn't really what I had expected. So, the upsides, are the location, the views from the roof terrace - Blue Mosque and... More

Spotlessly clean hotel a short walk from all the sights in the old city including the Grand Bazaar. Breakfast served in room overlooking the rooftops, Blue Mosque and Bosphorous. Very friendly and helpful staff who organised all our airport transfers (to and from different airports). If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay whilst doing the sights, this is... More

Although the furniture and fixtures are dated, the room was spotless and beds & linens comfortable. The staff was very helpful, getting ice for my swollen ankle and arranging taxis. We did find the room hot but because the system had been switched from cooling to heat there was no air conditioning. Luckily the windows opened and we slept well.... More
