Stayed three nights end of May. Had booked a room with two beds but got one with one bed when we arrived. They apologized and promised to move us the next day, which they also did without problems. Note that the safe is locked and you have to ask for it to be opened to use it. Bedspread was rather... More

We were allocated this hotel has part of our tour. The first night was ok - however the safe was not working and it took us 3 requests for them to fix it. Also, the bedspread has holes in it from smoking. But we were exhausted from flying in so we slept ok. The second night we had some very... More

The hotel was located just down the hill from the Sultanahmet neighborhood, near a charming small mosque. The area has a small grocery across the street and several restaurants nearby. Our room was adequate, with a nice bathroom,. but lacked storage space. A few shelves for our clothes would have been a help. Service was fine and welcoming, and the... More

Stayed three nights in early May with family in triple room. Room was spacious enough for a large double bed and one single bed with space to move. Air conditioning was not properly functional on our arrival but was fixed the next day. Rooms and bathroom were clean and were also cleaned on a daily basis and towels replaced. Breakfast... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as a solo traveller, it was my first time in Istanbul and I wanted a hotel which was within walking distance to the major sights and attractions of the city. I was not disappointed, my room was gorgeous with old Victorian style décor, walk in shower and wifi. Breakfast was a combination... More

The room was clean and the location fantastic because it was close enough to walk to many of the historic sites in the old area of Istanbul called Sultanahmet. A great thing is that the hotel is actually fairly quiet because it's not on a busy street. The included breakfast was ample, and had something for everyone as I observed... More

The hotel location allows most visitors to walk to key historic sites. A major advantage in Istanbul traffic! Reception staff very helpful, in particular Vedat who has a kind and personal approach to his job.

My class friends, I and our teacher stayed here from Thursday to Thursday in April 2014 during our study trip in Istanbul. The room has good space, with a great walk in shower in the bathroom and is really well decorated. It has the victorian-ish design which is really beautiful. The wifi connection is great to check mail and various... More

We were on a study trip and found this hotel to be perfectly situated close to eg. The Blue Mosque, The Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar etc. Even though we were 3 persons in one room, we still had enough space to our luggage. The maids were very friendly and the cleaning was good. The beds were a bit harder than... More

We stayed in this hotel on 1st week of April 2014. We didn't expect much but we were surprised when we arrived in the hotel. The room has enough space and is really well decorated. It has the victorian-ish design which I really love. It also has its own Turkish Bath. It's so clean and everything was just perfect. The... More
