Perfect location but came away with mixed emotions about this property - some aspects were brilliant, then they let themselves down with a couple of silly things, that shouldnt happen. We were staying 5 nights & had requested a room with a bath - the room that we were allocated was really tiny with a view of nothing along with... More

The hotel is perfectly placed but so are quite a few of them. The rooms are extremely small and the service inefficient. The breakfast is BAD... Not even made to order eggs considering it is saturated with tourists all the time. The staff has a perpetual frown as if the are so unhappy that you are there. Any question is... More

Stayed three nights end of May. Had booked a room with two beds but got one with one bed when we arrived. They apologized and promised to move us the next day, which they also did without problems. Note that the safe is locked and you have to ask for it to be opened to use it. Bedspread was rather... More

We were allocated this hotel has part of our tour. The first night was ok - however the safe was not working and it took us 3 requests for them to fix it. Also, the bedspread has holes in it from smoking. But we were exhausted from flying in so we slept ok. The second night we had some very... More

The hotel was located just down the hill from the Sultanahmet neighborhood, near a charming small mosque. The area has a small grocery across the street and several restaurants nearby. Our room was adequate, with a nice bathroom,. but lacked storage space. A few shelves for our clothes would have been a help. Service was fine and welcoming, and the... More

Stayed three nights in early May with family in triple room. Room was spacious enough for a large double bed and one single bed with space to move. Air conditioning was not properly functional on our arrival but was fixed the next day. Rooms and bathroom were clean and were also cleaned on a daily basis and towels replaced. Breakfast... More

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as a solo traveller, it was my first time in Istanbul and I wanted a hotel which was within walking distance to the major sights and attractions of the city. I was not disappointed, my room was gorgeous with old Victorian style décor, walk in shower and wifi. Breakfast was a combination... More

The room was clean and the location fantastic because it was close enough to walk to many of the historic sites in the old area of Istanbul called Sultanahmet. A great thing is that the hotel is actually fairly quiet because it's not on a busy street. The included breakfast was ample, and had something for everyone as I observed... More

The hotel location allows most visitors to walk to key historic sites. A major advantage in Istanbul traffic! Reception staff very helpful, in particular Vedat who has a kind and personal approach to his job.
