This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. There was no hot water for 24 hours of my stay. Although the hot water was not working when I checked in, no one at reception kindly informed me of this. The best word to describe it is probably appalling. I stayed here for 8 nights and the whole hotel was full of smoke and the air conditioning in all of the rooms never worked. The central heating worked but when you switch it on the room would go to about 100 degrees and so youd have to keep switching it... more

The street tout took me there and for an Ottoman house may have been quaint, there actually were rooms with black mold on the ceilings and the veranda windows which did not lock. Avoid this hotel if you can because plenty of other nicer hotels like Obelisk and Sumengen exist in old Sultanahmet section close to the Blue Mosque area. more
