This hotel is horrible at all levels, avoid it at all costs. The staff are rude, arrogant (especially the young boy), can’t speak good English and you can never get helpful information from them. The entire structure of the hotel is made of wood and the room walls are paper thin, so forget to get a descent sleep at this... More

Enjoyed the location and the great breakfast each morning. Hotel staff, while very nice had a difficult time speaking and understanding English which made dealing with them very difficult. I understand that it's a foreign country, but we didn't have this problem anywhere else we went. Rooms were clean, but small. Bathrooms were very odd. No normal shower, but rather,... More

For first timers to the city, this is a perfect place to get oriented. It is walking distance to some of the suggested highlights. The staff are all very friendly with a homestyle attitude. The rooms are well appointed, but dont expect 5 star hotel type of amenities. However I think this characteristic actually augments the experience of Turkey as... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The location could not be beat. 5 minute walk to The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and about 15 - 20 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. We were not distracted by noise from street or the Call to Prayer because the rooms seem to... More

We stayed at Yosuf Pasa Konagi for 3 nights when visiting Istanbul. Location: perfect location, within 5 minute walk of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. 15 minute walk from edge of Bosphorus where you can cross the Galata Bridge into the new city (more hip) Room: Very small but clean. The quality is what you get for... More

My dad and I stayed here for 4 days. On the first day, I put my laptop on the hotel room desk. It just so happened that there was an AC unit above the desk, which leaked on the laptop the first morning. In light of the fact that the power should have cut out in the room when I... More

We has a very bad hotel experience in an other hotel in Istanbul, so after that Yusufpasa Konafi felt like a safe haven for us. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated, the staff was polite (and most importantly: honest) and the breakfast was good. The room itself was quite modest, but cozy. There was a cable TV, air conditioning and... More

Located only 5min away from the Blue Moschee and Hagia Sophia it has a great location for your first trip to Istanbul. Just get out at the Sultanahmet tram station walk into the direction of the Topkapi Palace then turn right just in front of it and keep straight on. Afterwards turn right into the second street go straight and... More

Stayed at this hotel 6th - 11th April. We were given room 301 which had wonderful views out across the mouth of the Bosphorus and the sea of Marmara. Room adequate space and well appointed. Shower was good with plentiful hot water. Hotel is in a quiet road with not much passing traffic and close to the main tourist sights.... More

A very cute hotel in the perfect location. It has that “special atmosphere”. Close to the main attractions, near the sea, in the middle of “everything” actually. Good breakfast and helpful stuff. Free WiFi in the rooms. The room are rather small room, still cute and clean though. We’ve enjoyed our stay and I wouldn’t think twice about booking again.
