We booked an airport transfer to the hotel. On the way to the hotel, the driver picked up gas and got his car cleaned. We were very confused by the situation, especially since the driver did not speak English and didn't seem concerned that we were tired and just wanted to get to the hotel. We thought this was very... This was my second stay in this hotel after 3 years. I had enjoyed my first stay, so didnt hesitate to book for the second time. I couldnt understand how such nice property could be managed badly in 3 years. The hotel was not maintained since 3 years maybe. They put me a very bad located room, and the staff... More

My friend and I stayed in this hotel during our holiday in early September. Our room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was a bit noisy but I had earplugs so that was ok! The hot water in the shower was erratic, tho...either scalding or very cold. We did a lot of jumping in and out of the water... More

We had two rooms and both were very clean with nice size bathrooms in good working order. One of the rooms was the tiniest hotel room I have ever seen. I say that knowing that Americans are used to huge hotel rooms, but even so, this room was SMALL. However, once we got over the shock of its size we... More

I traveled with my friends for International Women's Day in March 2013. We stayed for 4 nights with breakfast included. Breakfast was small but nice and tasty :). Hotel is Old Town Istanbul and near all the museums and other historical sights. Staff was very freindly and professional. I liked the design of the hotel :). All great :)

This hotel is horrible at all levels, avoid it at all costs. The staff are rude, arrogant (especially the young boy), can’t speak good English and you can never get helpful information from them. The entire structure of the hotel is made of wood and the room walls are paper thin, so forget to get a descent sleep at this... More

Enjoyed the location and the great breakfast each morning. Hotel staff, while very nice had a difficult time speaking and understanding English which made dealing with them very difficult. I understand that it's a foreign country, but we didn't have this problem anywhere else we went. Rooms were clean, but small. Bathrooms were very odd. No normal shower, but rather,... More

For first timers to the city, this is a perfect place to get oriented. It is walking distance to some of the suggested highlights. The staff are all very friendly with a homestyle attitude. The rooms are well appointed, but dont expect 5 star hotel type of amenities. However I think this characteristic actually augments the experience of Turkey as... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The location could not be beat. 5 minute walk to The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and about 15 - 20 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar. We were not distracted by noise from street or the Call to Prayer because the rooms seem to... More

We stayed at Yosuf Pasa Konagi for 3 nights when visiting Istanbul. Location: perfect location, within 5 minute walk of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. 15 minute walk from edge of Bosphorus where you can cross the Galata Bridge into the new city (more hip) Room: Very small but clean. The quality is what you get for... More
