Perfect location. 10 minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. Close to the Grand Bazaar. Lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Stafff really great - could not do enough to make us feel at home.

From the moment I first contacted Naz Wooden House Inn I was made to feel like a valued guest and this has continued throughout my stay. The clean and well maintained rooms are comfortable. And, as others have mentioned, the terrace offers spectacular views as well as a very pleasant place to escape the hustle and bustle of the historical... More

The hotel is well located, with major sites, such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, all within a short walking distance. The room is clean and adequately equipped and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfasts take place in the rooftop where you get a spectacular view of the Bosphorus. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Naz Wooden Guest House several times. The staff is very helpful. And they kindly stored our luggage for a month without charge. The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul. And the breakfast is outstanding!

In all my travels, i have never experienced the level of service offered by this little hotel in Old Town Istanbul. The staff are beyond reproach, the maid would collect my clothes and fold them nearly. View from the terraces was breathtaking, the Blue Mosque in front and the Sea in the rear. This is the first time i have... More

The Naz Wooden House Inn is an absolute gem. My room was absolutely clean and cleaned every day over my 5 nights. The breakfast was extremely diverse-eggs, sausages, fruits, vegs, breads, olives, cereals, cheeses, jams, and breads every morning, along with bottled water, tea, and coffee. The breakfast room overlooks the strait and has views of the blue mosque. The... More

We stayed for 11 days at the Naz Wooden House. We are experienced travelers who want to fully enjoy an authentic cultural experience and see something of the people, cuisine, museums and churches, homes, and shops that are different from those in the USA. Our stay at the NAZ was very good. The hotel is small and clean and the... More

Reception Staff were helpful. The other staff had no English which made communication re food and adjustments to bedding etc. difficult. The rooms are well fiþed out but quite small -even the Standard doubles. The Hotel is quaint, traditional and has. fabulous views across the Bosphorous - but you have to climb to the 4th floor.for breakfast. Breakfast was ok... More

The host is very polite and helpful, very good service-minded indeed! However, the room was not cleaned properly. Breakfast was ok, it needed variety though. Good view from the breakfast area, you can see the blue mosque and the ocean over looking from the area.

We stayed at the Naz Wooden House Inn because my daughter and her husband had stayed there twice before. Being used to 5 star hotels we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was great and we looked forward to breakfast every morning on the deck as it has a great view. The location is fantastic and you can walk to everything.... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
