Very good hotel in nice neigborhood with a nice terrace with a magnificant vue on the Aya Sofia and Blue Moskee. The staff solves problems immediately! Only attention for the shop next door where people you take in for souvenirs and carpets!

My sister recommended hotel Saba to us and I'm really satisfied with the hotel. The price is good and the view is amazing!! I stayed at another hotel near hotel Saba because of the free transportation to the airport but I wished I stayed at hotel Saba the entire time. The room is clean despite the fact that wifi is... We stayed here in March 2015 and could not be happier with our decision. The hotel was lovely and in a perfect location right near the Blue Mosque and off of the Hippodrome. It is very close to public transportation and right near the tram that can bring you from the airport. It is walking distance to so many of... More

This hotel is perfectly placed for seeing the sights of Sunltahahmet area of Istanbul and the city generally. Breakfast was eaten on the roof terrace overlooking Blue Mosque, Haghia Sofia and the Bospherous which were all very close by. Down side of this was the early morning call to prayer! Our room was larger than we expected for hotels in... More

For a touristic stay in Istanbul, the location of this hotel couldn't ve more ideal: A rather quiet street right next to the old town square and the Blue Mosque. The accommodation is quite outdated though, and the pictures of the rooms don't look like the one we got. They are clean, but look old and the bathroom is extremely... More

After visisted Istanbul for a number of times, I had the experiernce with also an number of hotels. Looking back I can state that hotel Saba is one of the best hotels I frequented. The rooms are clean as the beds too. What I find the most important is the quiet location of the hotel, far away from the rumour... More

A very central and convenient hotel for exploring the city depths and landmarks of Istanbul as well as walking distance to local transport(s). Rooms were clean, tidy and organised, perfect for just dropping your bag in and spending the day out and about. Staff were friendly, and very helpful in every aspect. They would go out their way to make... More

It truly was a wonderful experience - the hotel was very clean and immaculate. The staff were very nice. Meryem and Ismail. Meryem is truly a wonderful person and to have her at reception to welcome one back was truly a joy. She is an asset to the hotel. The hotel is very well located to all the tourist sites.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
