Nice location just opposite the tram station in Fatih area. Modern cosy clean rooms well equiped with tv fridge hairdryer. A bit expensive but worth it. Nice loby and helpful stuf. I liked the big window in the room

This hotel is well located to access some of the great sights of Istanbul, especially if you use the T1 tram line. 15 mins from the Grand Bazaar and 20 from the Blue Mosque for just TL4/£1. The service is quite functional but polite. The rooms are small and in major need of a refurbishment. You get free bottled water... More

I stayed for 5 night. The hotel was clean. the room was a little small but in turkey its normal! the breakfast was diversity. But, i think it was 3 and 1/2 star not 4 star. The reception know the English. and it is very important. in the front of hotel, there is a tram station and recommended to use... More

Prior to a cruise we stayed three nights at the Ramada, Old City Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is about 3-4 stars and the rooms are small and stuffy. They are clean and the shower etc works well. This hotel is sold as a hotel close to the main attractions. This is not the case. That said, there is a... More

I had a pleasant stay here a few weeks ago. I would say the "pros" are the courteous helpful staff, amazing (though expensive) breakfast on the top floor with good views across the city, complimentary bottles of water in the room and the location - next to a tram stop. The "cons" are the rock hard beds. All in all,... More

During my last trip to Istanbul, had an opportunity to stay in Ramada, Old city which is well located right in front of the Tram station. Most importantly the hotel staff are very friendly, they understand and converse in English. I had selected a pacakge trip around the city, when I got struck with some logistics arrangements, the front office staff... More

We stayed in the Ramada on two occasions during our visit to Turkey. On the first occasion(2 nights) we had a large, comfortable room on the 4th floor with a good view over the city. Free bottled water provided, in-room safe, tea & coffee making facilities and FREE WiFi. The bathroom was quite small, but adequate. On the second occasion... More

If you ask me what makes this hotel exciting, my answer will be LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION :) It is right in front of Fendikzade metro station, which connects you to all the sight seeing locations in the city, such as Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the Topkape Palace, the two bazaars, and ends in Kabatash, where you can take a ferry. It... More
