Great position - very near all main attractions. Rooms very dated and even though I paid extra for the jacuzzi room I found it very basic and ordinary. There were no tea making things in the room but the service from reception was excellent and they brought us tea by room service. Erdel on reception was charming and helpful. more

The Ambassador Hotel is a short walk away from the Sultanahmet Tramway stop. The hotel is set back from the street a bit, and is very quiet. We arrived in Istanbul a day early and the Hotel Nomade arranged for us to stay at the Ambassador. Our one night there was just terrific and we wish we'd booked our entire stay there.
