Hotel situated ideal location opposite Blue Mosque, restaurants all around, walking distance to Bazaar or catch a tram from outside on main road. Hotel is very clean and quiet, friendly staff, Breakfast Manager Sezion one of the friendliest person you could meet. will be back next time in Istanbul.

We found this hotel to be an ideal place to stay if you want a reasonably priced but reliable hotel base to explore Istanbul from. This has been our second visit here. Staff are friendly and keen to make sure all is well. Grateful thanks to the hotel manager who went to a special effort to cater for our gluten... More

Excellent hotel very close to all major sights. Room very clean and comfortable free collection from airport if staying three nights or more. Staff very friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the roof terrace used for breakfast and evening drinks which overlooks the Blue Mosque and The Hagia Sophia. Views could not be better.Would definitely stay again.

I spent a night here and wish it had been longer. This is a lovely small hotel just off the beaten track, but within easy walking distance from the Grand Bazaar as well as the Spice Market. Breakfast is served on the rooftop and the views are too amazing, the Blue Mosque is on the doorstep. They also serve complimentary... More

A bit difficult to find the first time but plenty of people working in the nearby restaurants will help you out (and hope that you come back for a meal). Location is great, just minutes from Istanbul's main attractions. Breakfast is served on the roof top, with great view of Bosporus and the blue mosque. This is also where the... More

Stayed here recently for 3 nights. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of all the major attractions e.g. Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, Cistern Basilica etc. It was a little hard to find as it is set back from the street down a laneway but definitely worth it. The immediate area teems with restaurants, bars, cafes, eateries etc. The room... More

Small hotel up cobbled lane in heart of Istanbul. Situated just off a row of very good restaurants. Breakfast served on terrace with stunning views of both mosques. Helpful staff on reception. Basic rooms with comfortable beds and air conditioning. Apple teas are recommended.

We stayed here twice during our stay in Turkey - 5 nights, then 8 nights. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. When we arrived after a long overnight flight, we were given our room straightaway and invited to have breakfast on the roof. The breakfast staff, Derya (chef) and Sezgin (waiter) are wonderful - always welcoming. The breakfast... More

Loved this hotel due to its location in Sultanahmet, close to Blue mosque - though difficult to find at first instance as it is not clearly visible from outside and its entry is little at back side. The best it to reach either by taxi or get off at Sultanahmet tram-line and ask anyone, since it is just 2 min... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
