Great location just a short walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and nestled in the back streets among lots of restaurants however we were not disturbed by noise on the fourth floor. The room was basic but had tea and coffee facilities and AC. The beds were a little narrow but comfortable enough. The roof views are fabulous!... More

The ambassador hotel is hands down the best located hotel in Istanbul. Stayed for 8 nights. Located smack in the middle of the historic center and at the same time right next to the Sultanahmet tram station. Terrace has wonderful views of Haghia Sophia and Sultan Ahmet mosque. What makes this hotel wonderful is the staff, Umit and Derya are... More

I stayed at this hotel one week. Everything was perfect. The hotel is situated in the center of the old town, surrounded from Cafés, restaurants, shops. The Sultanahmet tram stop is 2-3 minutes from the hotel and tourist bus stop. The hotel has a lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque, the Marmara Sea, etc. it's very... More

We enjoyed our stay here for two nights. The room is not big, but comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The location is very convenient and close to restaurants, Sultanahmet tram stop, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mousque and Topkapi Palace. We will stay here again when we visit Istanbul in the future.

Ambassador's location is unbeatable and for that I would recommend it in a heartbeat. The hotel is located right at the Sultanakhmet tram stop; central to all the major sites within like a two to five minute walk. Parts of Istanbul are steep and the last thing one wants after a tiring day is to have to walk even that... More

I entered Ambassador Hotel by mistake as the hotel was located right next to the hotel I had booked online earlier on. I did not realise my mistake and even had the hotel's welcoming drinks with my mom till the staff (Aziz) reminded me that we were in a wrong place. However, he handled the situation so calmly and smoothly... More

I was on a 24 hour layover in Istanbul en route to Italy. The staff at Ambassador Hotel arranged pickup and dropoff services free of charge at Ataturk, gave us great recommendations for food and nightlife, and set us up for a half day tour of the highlights of Istanbul. The staff was friendly and outgoing. The view of the... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ambassador Hotel. It was my first time to Istanbul, so I decided to order the airport pick-up offered by the hotel. It worked smoothly and in no time I was at the hotel. The room was nice and clean. There was some noise from the alley next to the hotel, but I'm a... More

Not only is the location close to the tram and nearby sites, but it also has an fantastic rooftop terrace with a view of it all. The staff was overly generous. We were caught in a torrential downpour on the way in with our daughters and our luggage. The staff graciously grabbed us towels and went the extra mile so... More
