My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sebnem. It is a sweet boutique hotel in a quiet street. The photos on the website are true to life. We had the family room - double bed, 2 singles. The room was impeccable, and the bathroom small but perfectly fitted. We were made to feel... More

We stayed here while touring all the main sites in Sultanamet. Hotel Sebnem is a short walk from Hagia Sophia. the Blue Mosque and the Basilica Cistern. It is on a quiet side deadend street, but close to numerous restaurants and shopping at the Arasta Bazaar. The hotel has an excellent buffet breakfast and provides guests with filtered drinking water... More

Hotel Sebnem's website gives you a great idea of the place. The rooms, rooftop, and street front are absolutely as picturesque as the photos they post. Stayed 5 nights in two twin rooms in May 2014. The rooms were tighter than I expected, but they were super clean with a simple charm. The rooftop breakfast is the best you will... More

I love this hotel!! Honestly I cant say enough in praise about the hotel and the wonderful, helpful, and friendly staff. It is a GREAT hotel; very clean and quiet and great location; being very close (walking distance) to major sites and attractions in the Old City and also to public transport, and also adjacent to a wonderful dining street.... We stayed at this hotel two seperate times while we were in Istanbul. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was fresh with a large choice of things to eat with fresh orange juice each day.. The hotel is located behind Aya Sophia and is an easy walk to everywhere within the old city. Around... More

This is a small hotel on a side street in Sultanahmet. Very nice staff that were very helpful to us during our stay. They arranged transportation to and from the airport for us and moved us to a larger room which was great as we were staying a week. Some of the rooms are a bit on the small size.... More

After pondering a seemingly endless number of options to stay in Istanbul, we finally settled on this small, quiet hotel on a side street in Sultanahmet, within easy walking distance of Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, good restaurants and terrific shopping. The hotel was clean, tastefully appointed, and the rooms somewhat larger than many in this part of town. We... More

We stayed at the hotel 3 nights in May. The location is in walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Haya Sofia, the Grand Bazaar etc. Very friendly staff, wifi working easily, nice roof top terrace with great views of the Bosporus strait. Great for breakfast and a drink in the evening. The uniquely decorated rooms, the winding corridors and a... More

Sebnem was a great find for us and we were warmly welcomed and well looked after. Yes, as many reviewers have said, the bedrooms are fairly small but they are perfectly formed and we didn't really expect otherwise in an old building in the historic centre of a city. We had a standard double which was very comfortable, had satelite... More
