Very nice building. Excellent rooms. Gorgeous interior. Picturesque view from the restaurant windows on the top. Clean and tidy. Peace and quiet. Everything is almost great if... Ok, I would say that some of hotel workers need additional training to provide equal service for every guest. It is curiously and unpleasantly enough to see when waiter very friendly says "good... Perfect location in old Istanbul next to the Blue Mosque! So cute, but small..., and lovely decorated rooms in a special kitchyway! Unfortunately bathroom was not the same, old, worn and without taste. The breakfast buffet was not up to 4star standard at all! Tasteless&no good which is too bad as the dining room has a stunning view over the... More

Pro: Best place for Muslims who want a hotel that they don't have to worry about anything, mainly food. Hotel doesn't sell wine or beer. There a quaran in room. Quality of food, better then outside restaurants food. Staff are helpful and polite Location of hotel. Everything is walking distance. Room is big Con: WiFi poor and so slow. Non... More

We arrived quite early and our room was not ready but the staff organised a drink in the foyer and our room was ready. The hotel is very central and so comfortable. The staff are eager to help and will happily point out the directions to all the major tourist sites. Because the hotel is so central it is so... More

I had to make reservations quite quickly after deciding one day before travelling. I read the reviews and made the reservation on Booking.com. We used the hotel private transfer service, which was expensive, but removed the stress of safety with taxis and pricing as we arrived late at night. The front desk staff were always cheerful and helpful. We tried... More

The hotel we made a reservation at on Booking.com (Booking.nah!) did not have a room for us. They arranged for a room at their nearby, sister hotel. The second hotel was great! Very nice, well-appointed rooms. Our room on the 5th(?) floor had a nice view of the Bosporus. The rooftop restaurant had wonderful views of Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sohpia... More

I guess you know where I am going with this review based on the title. This hotel sits smack in the middle of Old Town Istanbul. Walking distance 5-10 min to Blue Mosque and other key sites. Even though it is very centrally located, it is actually very quite (apart from the mosques 5 times a day). It has great... More

Goldhorn is very good hotel. The location is perfect. Rooms are like palace rooms. Great view from roof terrace also serving the breakfast at the same place. Mr. Bulut is very helpfull to all guests. I recommend this hotel for high standard expectations. Never be disappointed.

My wife and I have stayed at the Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel on a number of occasions and really love its location. On this visit we spent 4 nights at the hotel, staying in one of the top floor rooms in which we had stayed previously. While we really enjoyed our stay, we have noticed that the standards at the...
