Hotel was quite ok, best part was the location just behind Istiklal street. Not too noisy eather exept those evenings they had live music at the terracce restaurant. Room was ok but smellt really badly cigarettes and beds were really rock hard. Best part was breakfast buffet, it was really good.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a pleasant stay. Istiklal street is in walking distance of the hotel, so is the bus and train station. Plenty of shops, restaurants and a couple of mini-markets are all within walking distance as well. The view from the rooftop restaurant is beautiful. But the breakfast was below average and the... The room is so small you can hardly walk in . The restaurant, the worst one of my many years of travel around the world . I got a table on the terrace and after 1 1/2 hours of ordering drinks was asked to move to another table with no view so they could give my table to group of... More

We stayed here while in Istanbul, great location in the new part of the city. Taksim Square is in walking distance and so is the train station. Plenty of shops and restaurants all within walking distance as well. Free breakfast buffet upstairs on the rooftop every morning.

I didn't have high expectations for this hotel and I wasn't disappointed! The room was so small you hardly had any space for 2 pieces of luggage. Window opened to a shaft so no fresh air whatsoever. You couldn't regulate the heating which was suffocating to point we had to switch on the aircon for cold! It was impossible to... More

To begin, the hotel transport was a great help, making the travel to and from the airport easy. The location is decent. The rooms are very nice but the beds are rock hard. The entire hotel is noce except the mattresses are awful hard. The complimentary breakfast is very good with a nice view from the terrace. Overall a great... More

Another wonderful stay in Troya Hotel after coming back from Antalya with family as we decided to stay for 2 days in Instanbul, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, a terrace with an amazing view on the room especially when having breakfast in the early morning. the only thing down was the breakfast buffet as it was very limited and... Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
