The hostel's condition will make you feel like you are in your own house. With the helpful staffs and friendly too. Near to Sultanahmet with highlight places of Istanbul. The best choice to have your rest in Istanbul.

I stayed at Orient Hostel for four nights. This hostel is very well located, the staff was super friendly, and breakfast was awesome! I felt at home during my stay, and I was instantly connected to the people there. Some nights, I just hung out with the staff, talked about traveling, and watched a football match together. I definitely recommend... More

We were given a really nice room with AC for the first two nights. Nice and clean. They have space in the back to park motos for those who come in on bikes. The dorm downstairs had like 40 beds....it was a bit stuffy for the summer but they did have fans but with a large room like that with... More

We had a brief stay in Istanbul, this hostel was perfect for it! The city is in walking distance of the hostel. Breakfast was good, we also ate at the hostels’ restaurant and the food was nice too. The hosts were very helpful and when we had a problem with the room they fixed it right away. They helped us... More

We stayed at Orient Hostel as a couple in December and it was great! Location is the best: walking distance to the main attractions in Istanbul, such as Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Spice Bazaar, Galata bridge... Staff is very helpful and can speak very good English, and they were always ready to give information about where to go. Breakfast is... More

We had wonderful nights in this hotel. The location is great, in the middle of the Old Town district, not so far from the tram line, and the historical area (everything can be reached on foot from here: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and also the Grand Bazar is not so far). The room was clean, and quite big.... More

I recently stayed at the Orient Hostel for three nights. The staff speak English. They have a restaurant and there are many others very close. The hostel is located in Sultanhamet the old historical district of Constantinople. Excellent friendly service and they have a tour agency on site which hooked me up with an awesome excursion to the south of... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
