Nice and wide rooms, great breakfast and kindly and English speaking staff. Great location with tram station just opposite the entranceand only 3 stops from the mosques. Restaurants, exchange banks and shops in the area.

We spent a night at the Kent hotel in Istanbul. The premises were very clean, with friendly staff. The hotel was within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar with lots of street merchants along the way providing an exciting environment for tourists. The hotel is great for tourists, modern bathroom, air conditioning, and facilities. Breakfast was good although forget the... More

Exceptionally friendly staff at the hotel during our stay end May before embarking on tour of Turkey. More people like Erol at front desk required in the hotel industry. Our additional baggage was kept safely for 10 days tour during our tour of Turkey. Very centrally located hotel and will definately return again. Madan & Khusum Dayal South Africa

We stayed at the Kent Hotel as part of a package tour to Turkey. I was surprised at the quality of the rooms and the location of the hotel as normally hotels booked as part of tours are a little far out and a little sub-standard compared to hotels you would otherwise book yourself. The hotel is literally only 5... More

As part of our Friendly Planet Taste of Turkey tour we were booked into the Kent Hotel. Loved the tour and the hotel. It was in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to all the sites in old town Turkey. The breakfast was excellent as was the breakfast room. Our room was very nice. Probably the best on our tour.... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel 4 nights broken into 2 stays. We could walk everywhere to see the sights of Istanbul and go to great restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful, including arranging flowers to be sent to a sick friend of ours outside the city. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choice with very fresh... More

Stayed at the Kent a total of 6 nights doing a tour of Turkey. Two nights at the start of the tour and 4 nights at the end. During the first 2 days, the hotel had not turned the air conditioner on, however it was on during our return. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel had... More

I stayed here with some friends, the staff was nice and the rooms were very clean and nice. The elevator was kinda small and it's not a resort, so I cannot give this place 5 stars. However, I was very pleased with this hotel.

I stayed here for just one night with a school group. The location is convenient, rooms pleasant and service friendly and helpful. Dinner is the restaurant was nice although it didn't seem particularly Turkish; the breakfast buffet was quite extensive. We would consider staying here when we return with the next school group.

We stayed here before our tour. Clean and comfortable. Was close to lots of attractions. Tram outside was handy. Lots of places to eat nearby. Breakfast buffet was reasonable. Would consider staying here again
