This Hotel made our trip to Istanbul the BEST! Within short walking distance of almost all of the highlights. Knowledgeable staff. As my wife and I were in town alone this was great! Beds were like new. Large breakfast buffet came with the stay. All the staff from the clean rooms to the food and every help needed Everyone was... More

Small family hotel. Very nice staff that makes you feel like your presence really matters to them. Good breakfast on the roof terrace, with a nice view. Clean rooms, a bit small, but again the atmospheare and the people who works in the are very nice. It´s the last building before the historical area in Sulthanamet, witch means that if... More

I stayed at this hotel many years ago and went again this March. Much to my delight it was just as good as ever. It's in the most amazing position, overlooking Topkapi Palace walls, just round the corner from all the tourist restaurants and hotels but quiet and peaceful. Unlike many Istanbul hotels which have terraces that are not closed... More

There are three reasons to stay at the Valide Sultan Konagi in Istanbul. The first is the amazing service! Ferdi is an fountain of knowledge of Istanbul and arranged everything form transportation to tours or just to recommend great walks (like "little Sophia"). Gokham went out of his way to make sure that we had a memorable experience in the... More

The best thing about the hotel was the view. We could see Hagia Sophia from our window. This hotel is within 2 minutes walking distance from Topkapi palaceand Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque is nearby. Very convenient distance from the tram, if you want to go to the grand bazaar, the spice market or dolmabahce palace. Breakfast is simple but... More

This hotel is very reasonably priced and in an excellent location for seeing Topkapi Palace, Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and other sites of the Sultanahmet neighborhood. The breakfast is extensive as well. Make sure you have drinks in the restaurant/bar on the top floor to enjoy the impressive view. The staff will take very good care of you.

Room not too big but so organize and clean, classic design and interior. The breakfast very good, on the top of the roof with fantastic view, panoramic... More

We spent three nights at this hotel in Oct 2014, and we were extremely happy with every aspect of the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located - just a short walk from Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque, and right next to the Topkapi Palace gate. In fact, we had a great view of the amazing Hagia Sophia from our... More

I stayed here solo over Christmas for a short break, mainly to see the sight-see and photograph. Very attentive and polite service from the front-desk: Ferdi was usually there and his spoken English was very good indeed. My room was on the 2nd floor with a stunning view of the Hagia Sofia - wonderful at dawn! You will hear the... More

I stayed in this hotel in November for 4 nights with a group of friends during our visit in Istanbul. We booked two rooms. The rooms were wide (also well-dimensioned bathroom) and very very clean. One fo the two double room we booked, was a triple room. Hotel's position is perfect! It is near the most important monuments. You can... More
