The staff were fantastic, although our AC broke and it took days to get it fixed. The rooms were incredibly small, but that's normal for the old part of the city. I recommend staying in the Taksim area and taking a taxi to sight-see Sultanahmet during the day.

Few things are nice about this hotel. The rooms are small, the beds are horrible to sleep in. The noise is brutal from within and outside of the hotel. They charge you for free maps.. FREE MAPS! Every single person in the hotel had a horrible atitude! Breakfast was below average. Location is ok but not great so dont be... More

Just one night because I was sent there by Turkish airlines. Food very bad; breakfast just coffee, tea an d marmelade; bread of days before. Cleaness of the room is a question mark. Also taxi driver. What to say more?

The room was very dark. Beside that, the hotel location is very good, and hotel stuffs are so helpful and amiable. They welcome you with great hospitality. You can go around most important sights in old city on foot.

Stayed here and wish I had had other options (Turkish airlines staple for the overbooked flights by the looks of it). Can only say that this is NOT a 4 star hotel as far as I am concerned. The rooms looked like they had seen better days. Internet is SLOW. Rooms are not very well sound proofed so you you... More

i have never been made to feel like such an unwelcome burden before. The staff is rude and seem to resent me asking questions. I'm a young man traveling alone and was made to feel like a beggar instead of a paying customer. There are far better hotels available. Keep looking.

My wife and I were allocated here after a missed connection. Service in front desk is poor. Bell boy is very helpful. Hotel is old and needs refurbishing. Beds are very old fashioned and not very comfortable. Towels in bathroom need to be changed immediately - old and hard when touching the body. Restaurant on seventh floor has good service... More

Once again, we were sent to this hotel by TK on our flights back from KUL and another 20hr stopover in IST. Welcome to this museum, as you can find a 14 inch CRT TV in its room. I would very much appreciate if someone could please tell me how this hotel got it's 4*s? The breakfast was OK but... More

Due the delay of my flight, Turkish Airlines arranged separate rooms for me and my friends. I was expecting modest basic hotel, but fortunately the hotel was very nice. Room was clean with good view. Minibar prices were very decent. Selection of the minibar was usual comparing other hotels worldwide. I spent my time also at the hamam of the... More

The hotel is located just next door to historical places like Topkapi and Aga Sofia, so one will feel him- or herself in the very heart of old Istanbul. The inside decoration and whole atmosphere is very cozy and calm. Perhaps, because of the relatively old building the hotel is situated in the smell in the bathroom is a bit... More
