Firstly the location is great. You can use Havatas shuttle buses from/to airport for international and domestic flights which drops you 50 meter from the hotel. There is a walking distance to Taksim square and Istiklal street. Our room looked fairly renovated, comfortable bed and very nice and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite good and if... More

First of all, the location of this hotel is perfect right in the middle of Istanbul, Taksim square very convenient. But the breakfast area, and the drawers in the bathroom were not the best when it comes to hygiene. The only thing you get in the bathroom is shampoo and shower gel that's it. However the blonde maid lady I... More

if you want a bargain for your hotel, i really advise this hotel. the location is perfect and staff are helpful(all of them understand English well). at first day of our arrival we had a problem to find our baggage(because we left them in hotel cellar to wander around taksim) but they helped us a lot to find them with... My sister, our friend and I stayed in room 702 for 4 nights. The room was clean and the size was normal (not small-really good for 3 people). We had reserved a triple room (3 single beds) but the room was furnished with 2 single beds and a sofa. The reception people were so kind and good. They got the... More

Nice hotel seems refurbished. the staff are polite but nothing more. the room size is very good for two people sharing a room and it can accommodate a baby cot as well. Nice bathroom with all amenities you want. Finally the most important thing about this hotel is LOCATION. it is situated in a very handy area where whatever you... More

I have been visiting Istanbul for years and I always try to stay at Lares Park Hotel. Perfect location, wonderful and helpful staff, always there to help you. The rooms are spacious, the swimming pool and the gym are just perfect if you want to do some sport. Highly recommend it for business travelers and families

Located just north of Taksim square, this hotel delivers a fair accommodation. If you're looking for luxury or charm there are better choices. The area is relatively modern and dominated by hotels and tourist restaurants. Rooms are clean and well equipped. My room had very limited wardrobe space and no chest of drawers. Friends in an other room didn't have... More

I had an amazing experience staying at LaresPark! The rooms were very clean, breakfast was great, the location is prime and last but not least the staff are outstanding. Specially, Sahil and Cihan at the reception desk. They literally went above and beyond to help make my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Weather it was asking for directions, asking about... Hotel was good and clean. Furniture was new. Welcoming atmosphere. Although it's just 3 minutes walk to the Taksim square, the hotel is surprisingly quiet. 5 minutes walk to the underground and 3 minutes walk to the Ataturk shuttle bus known as Havatas (pronounced Havatash) line which leaves every 30 minutes.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
