The only best thing about this hotel is it's location. One of the best location that you can stay in Istanbul if you want to be central to everything. I found it a little pricey for what the hotel offers. All up average hotel...

I found the Taxim Hotel very difficult and will not return to it. The Hotel is based right on the famous Taxim Square and walking distance from the Bosphorus. The rooms vary from very small to reasonable (depending on your luck). I first ended up in a small first floor room facing air conditioning compressors switching on and off. After... More

Right on the Taksim square. Location is really perfect. The area is now closed to the traffic which makes it less noisy. Specially at night. Nice and friendly staff but receptionists. Both at check in and check out, not very welcoming and make you feel they don't care, but polite. Breakfast was nice. Good selection. Great view. Room was nice... More

Can not find a better location than this. The facility is ok, looks like it has been renewed recently. The receptionist was not very welcoming, but other staff were nice and helpful. I arrived at noon and the receptionist made me wait till 2 pm as that was their "check in" time. But not a biggie. Room was nice. Not... More

Taxim Hill Hotel is central, easily accessible from Airport bus, with easy access to Metro in a vibrant part of Istanbul. Rooms are a little tired, breakfast on top floor has good view over Bosphorous. If you need a shirt ironed, ask early! Functional for a couple of nights of business.

I don't think there would be a better location it's just in the center of the taksim. The staff was so helpful the room decoration especially lobby was amazing I was there for business and I didn't need to take a taxi any time because metro is just by the hotel. I will certainly come back

During a recent business dinner at the roof top restaurant the waiter tripped and glasses of wine fell over me and the person sitting next to me. Of course, this was an accident but the waiter just offered us a napkin, barely apologized and left quickly. This incidence was not acknowledged later, even when the person next to me had... More

I didn't have high expectations for this hotel but was pleasantly surprised on arrival. I was given a room overlooking the Bosphorus and more importantly with air-conditioning. The location is great for Taxim square, around 30 minutes from the airport. Breakfast was in a large restaurant overlooking the Bosphorus and had a good selection of items. Hairdryer was unfortunately low... More

Good location, great view on Taksim square. Nice room with all what you need. Noisy cos you are overlooking Taksim square. Some times the tear gas from the police trying to break up the demonstrations was entering the room! But as a journalist i found this hotel and the room fantastic to cover the news. I will go back as... More
