Although clean and well located the standard rooms in this hotel are small, dim and lacking in good ventilation due to what seem like bottom hinged windows. The views from these rooms are either into a busy street or near building sites and the furniture had definitely seen better days. Breakfast was average with some of the staff seeming to... more

So close to major sights - Blue Mosque, Hagai Sofia, Topkapi, Cisterns and very easy access to transportation that takes you to all other sights. Rooms are a little small but adequate. Rooftop restaurant is fine and dinner is quite good especially if you want to escape from the hassle of being pressured by nearby restaurants. Service is very good.... more

Yasmak Sultan is in a great position it is close to the Bazzar and the antiquites of Istanbul. The Yasmak is a good well located clean and comfortable choice in the Sultanhamet area - very close to the big three sites - Topakpi, Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia as well as the tram - so easy to get to/from airport and to... more

Got free airport transfer for the trouble. The location of the hotel is great. Walking disnatnce to allmajor sights and Eminönü... more

The location of this hotel is ideal. Turn left out the hotel and walk for 5 minutes and you are in the main area for the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace. Turn right, go to the end of the street and turn right again and you are at the ferry terminal, again in about 5 minutes. The Grand... more

The Yasmak Sultan Hotel is very well located for many of the key tourist sites...no more than a ten minute stroll to Ayina Sofia and the Blue Mosque, with great views from its roof top balcony. We stayed there for five nights in May this year. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during the course of our stay.... more

Great stay during four nights in the Yasmak Sultan Hotel in Istanbul. Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. We did not try the restaurant for dinner. A big mistake! more
