Staff is very friendly and attentive. Hotel is clean, but ask for rooms 4th floor and above if you are a non-smoker. Breakfasts are FABULOUS! ... and included in the room's price. Very well located, a short distance from major sites and close to the train/bus lines. The only thing I didn't think was worth the price they charged was... More

We booked this Hotel for 4 nights in Dec 2014 after speaking with them and being advised by their Sales Manager to book online. Did so and also received a confirmation. About a fortnight before our travel dates received and email that cancelled our booking without any reason. On calling them again, their sales manager again took a day to... More

The location is just great, less than 3 minutes from the Istanbul historical mosques etc. Also, the tram station is in 5 minutes from the hotel to reach other parts of the city. The hotel is quite even though located in the heart of the touristic zone. The hotel staff are nice and willing to help you. I do recommend... More

Chose this hotel for its location to explore the historic area of Istanbul. Very close to the tram stop to go anywhere you want. Hotel is clean with all standard facilities. Hotel staffs were very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights there.

A very reasonably priced hotel, near most of the historical places and grand bazaar. Staff are friendly and have good advise on what to do for your visits. If I remember correctly, Aihan was very helpful. Just I wish there was no construction work, nearby. It was really disturbing, specially at the neighbourhood rooms. Try either to check if it... we had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Prince for 3 nights/4 days during our visit from India to Istanbul in October. The hotel was recommended by my Travel agent in Mumbai. Having navigated through the Trip advisor reviews i finally got the hotel booked. We arrived at the hotel early from airport by 12.30 pm (45 mins drive from... More

We spent a weekend in Istanbul and the Hotel Prince. It couldn’t have been better. We loved the old town with the hotel in the middle of it. We would like to say thanks’ to the very helpful staff which made our stay very comfortable. The guest relation manager Miss Özgür Richards gets 100 points out of 100!!! If you... More

The first best thing about this hotel is that it was walking distance to so many main tourist attraction like hagia sofia, blue mosque, topkapi palace, museum, & more. It was in the center of old city and tram was easily accessible. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Good & tasty breakfast... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
