A great Hotel in the center of old Istanbul. Very clean property with a great breakfast included. The staff was very helpful with all or our needs. Public transportation was only a couple of blocks away. Our stay was delightful. I recommend it! We loved Istanbul for its many charms and very warm people.

It's been a few years since I stayed at the Yigitalp Hotel, yet it remains consistently good. The staff are welcoming and the rooms are of an excellent standard. There are a number of hotels close to the Yigitalp, but it remains a favourite for me. Aksaray is a bustling area mainly selling wholesale clothes. Restaurants are scare, but it's... More

This hotel seems like the kind of place that one would choose to stay at because it's a good value at a fair price. That being said, there was nothing exceptional about this place. The rooms were serviceable; the lobby was nice. The building smelled like mold and mildew; the location was too far from the hustle and bustle. The... More

We visited this hotel as a part of a Tour in Turkey and Greece, to begin with the location, it´s in the noisy ugly end part of old Istanbul, that means lot of cheap clothing stores, dark streets at night, and not much to do in the nearby. I have read some opinions that the Grand Bazaar, and other places... More

Central location. Short walking to metro that takes you around old town or all the way over to new part of Istanbul. Walking distance to blue mosk and grand bazar. Hundreds of ordinary cheap clothes stores just outside hotel. Service minded reception, portier and bartender. Smart suggestions for how to explore Istanbul and great turkish restaurants. We got an upgraded... More

This little gem of a place is simply delightful. Situated in the Laleli district near the Istanbul University, the area is chock full of simply outstanding, tourist-free restaurants and amazing food. We arrived at around eight in the morning and were shown to our room, after an unexpected complimentary breakfast which was more than adequate. Tours are easily arranged and... More

The hotel is OK for a rather cheap price you get a hotel that is situated near to Aksaray Metrostation, perfect for transfer from and to the Airport. The tram stop is only a short walk from the hotel and takes you to the most popular sights. The room was OK and so was the breakfast. Good roomservice.

I spend four days beginning of October for four days with my wife and our experience was really bad for a four star hotel and a trip advisor winner for year 2012!! we have to wait 45 minutes for the driver to pick us form the airport and when complained to reception, the front office agent asked us to tell...
