This hotel is just lovely. You cannot fault it for it's location, in a quiet street with beautiful views from the terrace restaurant and yet a stones throw away from the Blue Mosque and the major sights. The rooms are tasteful with a fridge and air con and nice soaps. The breakfast buffet is amazing and extensive with beautiful views... More

Great hotel in a quiet part of the Old City, that had a brilliant breakfast with a large variety! Even though we thought it was in the quieter part of town, it was still close to everything. Best part was the roof top area that had amazing views! Highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed here for a couple of nights based on a local recommendation. I get the feeling it's a well-known hotel, with a good reputation, which is used for weddings and parties. I didn't like it so much, not because it's a bad hotel, but for some reason I hadn't thought it would feel so much like a hotel (I... More

I arrived into Istanbul in the early morning and despite this the Armada Hotel provided me with my room key when I arrived (9.30am!). Terrific way to be greeted. I was worried I would have to wait to check in. Whilst the hotel might look a rather dull from the outside, the rooms are nice and the bathrooms are very... More

My husband and I were guests in this hotel sometime ago and I just remembered that I wasn't able to review this hotel adequately. The location is perfect and the staff were professional. We were just talking about the experience we had here-- the candlelit dinner at the rooftop, the nice cozy room, and the wonderful Bhosphorus cruise from the... More

Apart from the noise, which I'll come to in a minute, this hotel is fantastic in every way. Great location, a few minutes walk from the main attractions and the streets with all the restaurants. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, e.g. out of hours breakfast at 5.30 on our last morning. The rooftop terrace is splendid, with great... More

Very nice hotel in an excellent location, right between the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. Fantastic view from the roof terrace, ideal for a cold drink after a long day of exploring Istanbul. Nice and quaint little rooms, and a very good breakfast buffet. Staff was very helpful, not always super friendly but very knowledgable. Ideal location, close to... More

This hotel is conveniently located for many tourist sights and within easy walking distance, uphill, to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia. It is also in a neighbourhood plentiful in restaurants and within a stones throw of the waterfront and a relaxing walk along the promenade. Paying extra for a room with a view of the sea is,... What an interesting and quirky hotel. The location was fantastic, not only close to city sights, but 1 block from the waterfront and views from our room. The waterfront is nice and walkable. Inside the hotel lobby there is a turtle pond and bird sounds. It sounds like a rain forest. There is a patio upstairs with a great view... More
