We had a suite of one queen size bed and another room with a convertible couch. The Blue Mosque, at night, daytime, and sunrise was incredibly beautiful. We had a great stay here. I could lie on the bed and see the dome from my window as if it were (and it was) next door. Also, a few steps from the Agia Sophia and the Palace. Positive + great location - minutes by foot to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and others + wonderful service - at reception, the restaurant etc. Average = ok buffet breakfast ; mediocre coffee Negative - tiny room, minuscule shower, closet opens partly (bed in the way!) - very loud calls to prayers 5x per day -- I used earplugs.

This hotel is in a great location for visiting the sights of Sultanahmet. Its proximity to the Blue Mosque is however also its Achilles’ heel as the 5.15 am call to prayer can be hard to ignore. Then again the hotel fronts onto a restaurant which has live Turkish music every night until around 11.00 pm. So I’d bring earplugs.... More
