Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is good. Clean rooms. Bathrooms floor is burning somehow which is not good feeling for summer days. It is great for people who have walking issue as it is in short walking to the top sites.

Photos placed on booking sites are better that the hotel is. The rooms are quite small, some furniture is a bit old. The breakfast is average, with a chimical drinks. But it is okay to stay for a few days.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel on my way to Albania in August 2014 and it was my first visit to Istanbul (and to Turkey, actually) ever. Since I was to arrive late at night, I ordered transfer service from the Ataturk Airport and asked for late check-in (at 2 a.m.). All this was organized perfectly - I was... More

The hotel is refurbished Turkish blend and the rooms are quite basic and if you ask for one off the road they can be quite quiet. The staff is friendly and try to be helpful i is my second time there, the location is great starting point to main tourist attractions and huge variety of restaurants. They redid their rooftop... This hotel has every thing going for it. It is in an excellent location in the old city, the rooms were roomy and clean. The staff excellent. The breakfast was one of the best we experienced in two months of overseas travel. On arrival the receptionist organised a free taxi to take us to dinner at a fabulous Fish Restaurant.... More

We booked this hotel through an agency after our last trip here was marred by a dreadful hotel experience. We were not disappointed! It is clean and charming. Lovely breakfast and the rooftop terrace overlooking the Sofia Hagia is very relaxing. The barman Suleiman was very friendly and efficient. They organised a tour for us and swapped days when my... My husband and I stayed at the Celal Sultan for 4 nights in June. I stayed there last year with some students, and was hoping it would be as good as before. It was and the staff are wonderful. The position perfect and everything about it is charming. I love that its smaller and quaint and the breakfasts fantastic. I... More

An inspirational décor, cozily located walking distance to the historic attraction in old Istanbul is Celal. Warm, straight from the heart service is what makes its such a homely experience. Perfect for English speakers. (language can be challenge in Istanbul). Recommend you book all your tours via the hotel. They will personalize your itinerary with quality, trusted service providers.
