This hotel has a perfect location, in the Hippodrome. Just in the middle of the main sites. I was afraid that it could be noisy because Hippodrom is often crowdy place. But in fact inside the rooms you are not disturbed at all. The rooms are not very big but very nice and very clean. The barthroom is quite big... more

We stayed at the Alzer hotel for about 5 days in June. Its a really nice, small hotel with a fantastic location - on At Meydani, the former Hippodrome, just across from the Blue Mosque. On the first night we were given room 32 - which was really small and cramped - and we were not too happy. The next... more

This hotel is in the best possible location for an Istanbul trip. We had a triple room which was large enough for the beds and decent walking around room. While not a "luxury hotel" It has everyhting you need! The evelvator stops at the 5th floor and you walk some steps to the breakfast room. Be sure to take your... more

This hotel was absolutely incredible. The rooms are goregous and each unique and all very clean. But the thing that made it one of the best hotels İ have been to is because of the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. İ fell in love wıth the culture and people because of them. Merluts breakfast is so good and... more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Cafer and Engin. The breakfasts were inclusive and with plenty of variety to choose. Our bedroom overlooked the Blue Mosque, which added to the hotels appeal. Definitely recommende for travellers on an average budget for the holiday more

The hotel's location is excellent, lying directly across from the Blue Mosque. The staff is comprised by about 7 people who do everything: from the front desk to the restaurant and terrace to transport to and from the airport. They are always friendly and very helpful. The double rooms are relatively small, while our triple room was quite spacious. The... more

The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It is located in front of the hippodrome, very very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Cisterns. The staff very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious!!! more

The Alzer with its superb location is within walking distance to some of the most important cultural and religious sites in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. The room (single) at the hotel is a little small but comfortable nonetheless and very clean. The spread at breakfast is pretty satisfying and is served on the top floor which has magnificient / breathtaking views of... more

We had a really lovely 4 night stay at the Alzer Hotel in Istanbul. The location could not be better, right on the Hippodrome so practically next door to both the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia with Topkapi Palace about a five minute walk. The first night we stayed we were bumped up to the Pasha suite with its stunning... more
