The location of this hotel must be second to none. It's opposite the Blue Mosque and just down the road from the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. The staff were friendly and the rooms comfortable and the hotel had a very Turkish (as opposed to internationally anonymous) feel. The location of the hotel is excellent, very, very close to the Blue Mosque and loads of other attractions. There is tram system very close also which let's you buzz accross town very rapidly. Don't forget to purchase your token close to the tram stop, 3TL about €1.3. The machine takes notes also.

Kind of shabby, and not as friendly as other reviewers have said. Yes, the location is right across from the Blue Mosque, and yes, the breakfast buffet (and the view) is delightful and delicious. However, everything in Sultanahmet seems focused on the tourist trade, so once you see the "big sights", and you're ready to see the part of Istanbul... More

Hard to find a better location to visit the key sites. Walking distance to all major sites in the old city. The staff and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the rooms are clean and adequate. If you don't want to pay top price this is a great hotel

This was a great hotel for our family stay. It is just behind the Blue Mosque and convenient to the Sultanahmet district in Istanbul. We stayed for only one night but the room was really nice, breakfast was fantastic and dinner that night was delicious. The staff was very attentive and the free WiFi was definitely a plus.

Stayed in an economy room (4th floor) for 4 nights in March. Ideal location for Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Spice & Grand Bazaar - all walkable maximum 20 minutes, or access to efficient tram system. The hotel must have payed for the stars! Excellent location, poor standard, nice price terrible tea. Stayed here with a couple of friends for 3 nights, an old school tie re-union to celibrate a birthday
