Review a bit late , sorry. Illness at home. My Sister and I stayed there in September 2014. A couple of minor problems occurred but were promptly sorted. Due to a medical condition , we always require a quiet located room .We were worried about outside street noise and the Mosque , thankfully there was no problem. We have visited... More

If you can book a reservation at the Dersaadet, consider yourself fortunate. This is a lovely hotel with the kindest, most friendly staff I've ever encountered. Everyone….. Desk staff, ladies who clean your room and the waiters who serve breakfast. The view from the top floor is quite spectacular…. overlooking the water and that is where you are served breakfast... We loved our stay at Dersaadet. The entire staff welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home. They are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. While not large by U.S. standards, our room was very comfortable and immaculately maintained. And the view is unbelievable, with the Blue Mosque up the hill and the Bosporus and the Sea... More

Me and my wife stayed for a week on March 2015 at Dersaadet hotel. The feeling of staying there in my middle eastern taste was like you're at your relatives' home and they're doing as much as they can do to help you and make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel's staff, were polite and helpful like your friends. Our... More

I arrived well before check-in time and was greeted warmly and offered complimentary breakfast. The front desk noticed that I was a returning guest, though my last and only visit was in 2004. The building was restored exquisitely and if anything has improved over time. Every service request was executed efficiently and pleasantly. Wi-fi was quick and efficient both in... More

I recently stayed in Istanbul for three nights. I had booked another rated hotel which overbooked and rudely asked me to cancel so I chose the Dersaadet based on a colleague's recommendation. What a blessed event. The entire Dersaadet staff were kind, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I cannot say enough about the excellent staff. They were terrific. In addition, the... More

The location of hotel Dersaadet is second to none is your primary goal is to explore the historic sights of Istanbul. Steps away from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia, the primary sights of the city are within a 5-10 walk. The staff is EXTREMELY accommodating/helpful and offering numerous suggestions ranging from restaurants and nightly events to full day... More

I have been to Istanbull on numerous occasions and stayed at many top class hotels, but this Hotel sets a new standard for me. The location is excellent, several hundred meters from the Blue Mosque, surrounded by Restaurants of different flavours, secure, pleasant. The staff were simply unbelievable Friendly, nothing too difficult, even when I asked for same day laundry... More

We felt very welcome at the wonderful Dersaadet from the moment we arrived. They received us with a hot apple tea and some Turkish delight in the little lobby while we were filling out the registration. The staff there is just amazing, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We mainly talked to Ïlhan Agirman on the front desk and he was... More

We had a nice stay in this small hotel, located in a very nice area, although the access road is a little rundown. The entrance was very often blocked by stray dogs and nobody at the reception cared much about it. The receptionists were very helpful, although I would not recommend the dinner at Fener (a restaurant they suggest you... More
