I stayed 11 nights in this charming gem of a hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated with turkish characters, and It was quite spacious for one person. Breakfast on the roof top deck overlooking the sea of Marmara was nice way to start a day. Having a glass of wine on the deck was also nice way to relax after... More

Stayed two nights in middle of October at this very nice hotel, we stayed four people in a corner suite and it was quite spacious. Reasonably good location although a 10 min walk from nearest tram station and sights, but not a problem really. Some nice restaurants nearby, enjoyed The Hippodrome just down the road on the main street. Very... More

We had a lovely week at the Dersaadet Hotel staying in rooms on the second and third floor overlooking the Bosphorous. The hotel is very central, being walking distance from many of the places you would want to see, and near the tram for travel further afield. The staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful and there is... More

The hotel contacted us before we left, arranged a cab to pick us up and our luggage was looked after, also obtained our museum passes which saved us queuing. we were given tea to welcome us. All staff were very helpful. breakfast on the terrace was very good plenty of variety. nice view too. It is possible to walk to... More

We recently spent three nights in Istanbul, and had a great stay at this charming small hotel. We were warmly met at the front door, and promptly offered an apple tea.Thoughout our stay, the staff was gracious and helpful. The hotel is well located in the vicinity of the Blue Mosque, and breakfast served overlooking the Bosphorus is a memory... More

Very pleasant stay in the sultan´s penthouse suite - really great view from the roof terrace, centrally located and very helpful staff. We really enjoyed our room, which was just like 1001 nights´fairytale.

This was our first time to Istanbul and we loved the hotel. The most difficult part of the journey is getting your car from the airport to the hotel. This is because the airport is so chaotic (not the hotel). You find your name as you arrive and then they show to the curb area and the car/van arrives. From... More

My partner and I had the most positive experiences of a hotel stay at this venue! From the warm, gentle welcome and registration to the rooms (we enjoyed the Hamam Room), the breakfasts, the very helpful advice and suggestions to the attentive yet unobstrustive staff, it was just a wonderfully pleasant experience. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to travellers... More

This was our second stay at the Dersaadet Hotel. The first was ten years ago, and we were really hoping to find it exactly as it was the first time. We were not disappointed. The only difference is that now there is free wifi, which is an improvement! There are so many things that are "just right" about this hotel,... More

This is a revamped Ottoman house, with a typical roof terrace on which one has breakfast and evening drinks. The views over the Sea of Marmara if you are on one of the higher floors are marvellous, but even on the lower floors (there are only 4 altogether) the 'neighbourhood view' is charming and local - a quiet street, apart...
