My experience in Istanbul in the hotel Nena was largely based on the contribution of Sedat Zorlu one of the hotel receptionist who went out of his way to be sure I had a wonderful experience in Istanbul. What does this mean? - simply great service, someone who cared beyond the paycheck. As the the Nena it is a great... More

When i choose a hotel, my first priority is location. It has to be close to important sightseeing points - good views are an added bonus. Second priority is the room conditions and service, and the third is room rate. For my 3 priorities nena hotel was the perfect place for visiting instanbul. It is located: - A min from... More

Did I mention the location? It was wonderful. It is just a few meters away from Aya Sofia and The Blue Mosque. Many other locations in Istanbul are walking distance. We were three female friends traveling together while the husbands stayed home to watch the kids (and earn the money for future trips). The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative.... More

First off I want to start with how helpful and responsive the management at Hotel Nena Istanbul are. The general manager Muzaffer Sahin & Sadat (tour manager) as well as the front desk and girls in the breakfast room were exceptional. It was my husband & my anniversary so I wanted to make sure our room had a view. There... More

American family travelling with 2 small children. Stunning restaurant view. Excellent customer service. We stayed in the family room and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel does not serve alcohol (just as an FYI) but there is a shop close by and a fridge in the room if you want a nightcap. The location was... More

Nena Hotel was awesome for myself and my boyfriend on our stay in Istanbul. The staff definitely made it for us with smiles and a friendly service each time we walked in or out, even at 3.45am when we left! The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was an incredible buffet of all sorts of local and western cuisine. Prime... More

Situated 5 minutes away from the main attractions in Istanbul, the Nena Hotel offers a great base camp for people that want to explore the majestic city. It is a couple of blocks away from the Grand Bazaar (which is great if you plan on buying a lot) and about a 5-10 minute stroll from the Hagia Sofia and the... More

We had a double room as a couple in the first floor right over the reception and with a view to the street! The train is 2 mins away. The beautiful blue mosque, hagia sophia and the basilica cistern are only 10 mins away! The breakfast was every day fresh.

This hotel may not have the facilities of a 5 star hotel but we it has a 5 star service and hospitality. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
