Literally just steps from blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc. Views from roof top breakfast room to Hippodrome and water. Very friendly, helpful staff, family-run feel. Room was simple, comfortable, everything we wanted. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There's a lot of good things I want to say about this hotel. First, location is perfect. It's very near to hippodrome and Blue mosque. It will be a good hotel for the old city tour. The neighborhood is peaceful. My friend and I (both females) never felt scared to roam around at night within the vicinity. There's a Chinese... More

Fehmi Bey is perfectly located if you're visiting Istanbul for the first time and you want to be near all of the sights and bustle of Sultanahmet. But, if it's your zillionth time visiting Istanbul, as it was for me, you'll also appreciate the opportunity to enjoy fantastic views, the quiet seaside and the comfortable and chic interior that makes... We stayed close here when we arrived. Small bedroom, but had a lounge area. Back to stay again, much bigger bedroom and bathroom. Tip - Ask for room with bigger bedroom and bathroom. Aircon in all rooms which is good. Plus key lock safes. Rooms are clean and tidy and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in Fehmi Bey for 3 nights with family and loved the hotel a lot - the location is great ..literally 2 mins walk from blue mosque. Rooms were good and comfy. The staff are friendly . Breakfasts were ok but the views from the at the rooftop restaurant of the hotel made it very enjoyable.

This is a nice family run hotel located very conviently to the many sites and restaurants. We had a great time in Istanbul and the staff were very accommodating and friendly even though we came and went at very early/late times during our stay. Would recommend to all. Breakfast on the upstairs balcony was also a highlight.

The view of Marmara sea from the terrace restaurant is breathtaking. We also get a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque twds another direction. The best part is the location of the restaurant, ideally very close to all major places of interest in the old city. Just walkable distances, with lots of various kinds of restaurants all around. Enjoyed my... More

The rooftop restaurant and the central location are the two great highlights of this hotel. You can see the blue mosque anda the Bosphorus from the rooftop. The rooms are quite compact, particularly the bathroom.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
