I just returned from a 5 day trip to Istanbul and decided to stay the entire time at the Sarnic Hotel based on so many positive reviews. Fortunately, I decided at the last minute to move to another hotel for the last two nights in case I didn't like this one...which I didn't. It is a very small, family run... more

We stayed here for 5 nights with our 8 month old baby. The hotel is a nice hotel and we had a large family room with space for the baby to crawl around. The staff were fantastic with our child and offered a great service. The room was on the second floor. If you have a small child to carry... more

We found the hotel by internet, booked and got there! When we arrived at the airport, the transfer man of Sarnic Hotel was waiting for us with our names. It was very comfortable especially after a long way flight. What a wonderful place, helpful staff and a warm 'home' in Istanbul. Our room was big enough and really comfortable. From... more

This fantastic hotel is very close to the Blue Mosque (1 min.) und Hagia Sophia (2 min.). The stuff are so friendly and the hotel atmosphere is so familary that we wonder if it is possible for that this small price. Yes it is. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. We can say we have now a second home.... more

My stay was principally for business and if you need to be near the historic sites, this is a good location indeed. However, I was mystified as to why breakfast starts at 08.00 because I only managed to get one in during my stay (given early business starts). Do note that although some websites selling this hotel suggest that there... more

The Sarnic came highly recommended by a Turkish friend and I was very happy staying there. The staff were extremely personable & helpful. I even took a yummy cooking class there. The free laptop was very handy for airline checkins; the breakfasts were delicious; and the rooftop afforded a spectacular view of the harbor & the sunset. There isn't an... more

The location of this hotel was walking distance to most major historical sites in the old side of Istanbul. The bathoom was a bit small but the service was wonderful and staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. This hotel was a treat. more

We had heard about the hospitality of the Turkish people. We read reviews of various hotels in the Sultanahmet area. We booked late and were not able to book at either of the two hotels we had recommended to us. I have had very good results using the Trip Advisor user ratings as a guide. My wife and I were... more

My husband and I recently spent 25 days in Turkey, on tour for two weeks. During our tour we stayed at over half a dozen hotels. At the end of our tour we checked into one of the best, The Sarnic Hotel in Istanbul, for a week. It was a pleasure to have our last seven days settled into a... more
