This hotel was part of a relatively low-cost cruise package, and a pleasant surprise. The best thing about this hotel is the location. From the rooftop terrace the Blue Mosque is almost in your face. Walking distance to the Grand Bazaar etc. The staff were really helpful, our initial room opened onto an internal space and we asked to be... More

Great location, good breakfast, decent price, clean rooms and friendly staff...however, the pictures posted on the website where I booked did not accurately depict the rooms. They are extremely small, with windows looking onto a stone wall two feet from your face. It gets no air whatsoever but plenty of noise from the 5am call to prayer. The shower has... More

Our stay at Sarnic was a solid 7.5\10. Here is a breakdown: Pros: - great staff! made new friends! very helpful and always available for whatever you need. -location is superb.. just a short stroll (2 mins) to hippodrome and Blue Mosque.* there is a steep hill however, which used to leave me huffing and puffing the first few days... I visited Istanbul with my family in early April. We booked a twin for our two young teenage boys and a double for myself and my wife. Unfortunately when we arrived (11pm) we found that our room was on the fourth floor and our boys were roomed on the ground floor. We asked the very nice guy on the desk... More

Me my dad and my sister spent 3 nights at the Sarnic hotel and had breakfast included which were really good and you could choose from a mix of different dishes. The beds were okey to sleep in and the toilet was clean and fresh. It was our first time in Istanbul and the reception was very helpful and gladly... More

I have been there for 3 nights over April during my stay for business trip, beside the fact that the roof bar was not operational, the breakfast and the room were decent, associate to a nice location and smiling staff, I can only recommend that place.

We got the deal through a mystery hotel which meant it was cheap but it was billed as a 4 star hotel which it certainly was not. We were put in the "Boutique" side which had no lift (elevator) and we were on the top floor. The rooms were very basic with a tiny TV with only one channel in... More

Dear Gues, thank you for your nice feedback. This is an old Ottoman Mansion, so there is no elevator. We gave a nice room on teh hight floor to make you feel comfortable. The terrace was not open because of the cold weather. We are sorry for that. Regarding with airport transfer we offered you the price and waited a confirmation... More

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's really close to the mosques and other tourist attractions. However, after having a stroll around the area, I got lost trying to come back to it a couple o times... hehe... I thought the room was clean, but a bit small. The bathroom was also small, but no other complaints. However, I... More

We stayed here between 8-14 Jan 15. This family run hotel is a stone throw away from the Blue Mosque and within walking distance from other attractions within the sultanahmet area. Its a cosy, quiet and clean establishment. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. Many thanks Aydan, Sadat, Behruz, Ergun and all the other... We stayed here on a 3-day trip to Istanbul. Excellent location, right in the Old City and near Blue Mosque. Room was in the "boutique" part of the hotel...which is the cheaper part. There is a "Premiere" hotel by the same name, and attached. Our room opened out onto an unheated corridor, so basically you had to go outside to... More
