Spent 4 nights here in April 2015. Booked 2 rooms. Kazim and Onur extremely helpful. I am quite large so found the bathroom a bit restrictive - no problem for Kazim and Onur who arranged for us to move to a larger room. I cannot thank them enough for all their assistance - especially Kazim. We were travelling with 2... More

I had a great time in this hotel. The location is perfect just in the center of turistic istmbul, 2 treets from blue mosq and agyasofia. Great breakfast. 15 minuts walk to gran bazar and 4 blocks to metro line (tranvia)

Just arrived back home in the U.S. after a five day stay at this adorable and equally amazing hotel in Istanbul, right across from the Sultanahmet. The location does not get any better and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Onur for making our stay so wonderful. Would highly recommend... This small hotel (21 rooms?) is perfectly located right at the edge of the Hippodrome. Within 5-10 minutes (depending on your walking speed!) of Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sofia, Topkapı Palace and The Cisterns. Bedrooms are quite small but very comfortable and recently renovated to a high standard. Breakfast on the top floor very good with a great... More

This hotel was very comfortable, clean, super well maintained and great location -located just next to Sultanahmet Square. The staff here were amazing and helpful; They also packed me Olive paste to carry back home. Amazing view from top floor of both Blue mosque & Hagia sofia. Their restaurant serves good food.

The position of the hotel is perfect if you want to see the Sultanahmet mosque (200 m from the hotel) and the Aya Sofia museum (less than 1km away). Some quaint small old-town restaurants are reachable from the hotel by foot, however stepping outside the Sultanahmet mosque's neighborhood even 200-300m, the area becomes dirty and busy, but still with nice... Stayed for 4 nights recently. Great location, excellent staff. Rooms very small especially the bathroom so small you couldn't fully open the door.... It did prepare us however for the bathroom on the cruise ship we boarded in Istanbul. Pillows aren't the best and when we arrived no blanket on the bad just a sheet. All in all our stay... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute! Local and in the center of the city. Wonderful food at the restaurant. Amazing staff. Upon check in I realised I had picked up someone else's bag at the airport. Staff helped me by calling the airport and advising me what I needed to do. I even received a round of... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
