Visited Istanbul in January. This is the "off-season" period in Istanbul and the hotel was very cheap to stay at. A very nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast is offered as standard however its location is great for restaurants and bars. Walking distance to some of Istanbul's most famous sights too such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and... I am stunning. The standard room is like family room. The ambient of the room is so ottoman, I got that feeling that I am a sultana :-) . King size bed, and the sheets were amazing. Everything clean and perfect. On the top of this hotel is the restaurant. View- is stunning. From one side is the best mosques... More

My experience of this hotel did not live up to the reviews read here. Although ideally placed and public areas very presentable and clean, the room (217) was looking tired and in need of attention. Curtains came off rail each time I drew them, wooden surfaces damaged water/stained, bed and pillows hard to lumpy, "cable TV" had 3 Turkish channels... More

Only positive comments from me! We arrived at 3am, and were immediately greeted with a truly warm welcome. Breakfast in terrace restaurant was great with food and the view of the Bosphorus. Served until 1030 was a plus! Front desk can assist you with every inquiry. All old town sites a few minutes walk from hotel. Great public, but we... More

I have stayed in this hotel since 1992, for a total of 19 times. Over the years the owner has maintained the style of of a boutique hotel. The plumbing and furniture, especially the wardrobes and the beds are of top quality. The hotel is about 300 metres/yards down a gentle slope from the Blue Mosque. It is a nice... More

There is a messy with names of the hotel - Obelisk and Azade. Airport taxi drivers do not know the name. Prepare the correct address and negotiate the fix price before you go by taxi! This hotel is not excellent but good. Lack of light and some walls need to be painted. Good breakfast and Wi Fi. Location is great.... More

The Hotel is located few minutes walking from major must seen places in Sultanahmet. The area is very quite and charming, with many Café '- Restaurants near by. The Hotel staff is really hepful and the breakfast at the roof terrace is great experience!

Positives: Location - It's 5 minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. There is a tram stop very close by too. Which is great to get around, easy to follow and cheap. The area itself is lovely. Price - Excellent value for money. The hotel offers great prices but also offers good quality. The rooms were clean and comfortable,... More

When I decided to chose this hotel to stay in during my vacation in Istanbul, totally my decision was driven by the high score they are getting from reviews. But I really got shocked when I reached there. The hotel is very normal, the rooms are small and the lightening in the room are very week, food is not good... More

This hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, in Sultanahmet. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel for 5 nights! The breakfast is really great, and is situated on the roof terrace with a magnificent view of Bosphorus and the Marmara Sea. I would recommend this hotel!
