The ONLY redeeming feature of this hotel is that they have a free airport shuttle. Look at the pics. It's a 1 or 2 star hotel at 4* prices. If it ever was a Holiday Inn, it must have been 25 or 30 years go when it was new. And nothing has been done to maintain, let alone upgrade since.... More

Ok, maybe an overreaction to the room that was in terrible shape, and smelled terrible. After we paid 300 USD, we did expect something better. There are a ton of other ridiculously priced hotels in Istanbul, but at least the quality is usually pretty decent. The staff was substantially better than the hotel, though.

Dull and a bit tatty. The hotel is convenient for the marina but little else. We had certain annoyances such as our room being double let apparently leading to us being woken up by phonecalls to the other guests.

Great location but rooms are old, poor maintenance. Staff (especially the ones at the reception) need to be thaught some manners and how to treat customers. They are not efficient and not helpful at all.
