Went to istanbul in August 2009 for a conference and stayed at the Ritz Carlton. Absolutely top rate luxurious hotel with a fabulous view. Was staying on the 12th floor with an amazing view of the Bosphorus. Very good food quality and good service. highly recommended.

Hotel is located in the first 15 floors or so of an ugly residential building. Rooms and service just average.

Our stay came at the end of a month long tour from Paris, with 21 days of river cruising and we were thrilled that the tour had chose the Ritz Carlton for the last 3 nights. As first timers in Istanbul with only 2 days in the city which were filled with tours, we found the location - a ten... More

What can you say about something so close to perfection? The bed was amazingly comfortable, the service immaculate, the views of the river unmatched. The spa incredible and the extra surprises in your room when you got back from a long day a real delight. All in all a true 5 star, with little room for improvement. My only complaint... More

There's one thing that you cannot pay on hotels and that is service and simpathy. This kind of service and attention that you only get on classic renowned hotels like the Ritz Carlton. The concierge was just what you look for, attentive and surprisingly dedicated to our requests. Thanks Ritz Carlton

luxurious hotel, great service, fantastic spa, incredible rooms. highly recommended. the location isn't ideal, but cabs are cheap and fast so it isn't an issue at all. also, compared to the other luxury hotels in the city (four seasons and cirgan palace) this is an incredibly good value.

The Ritz-Carlton is everything its name implies imply: fancy, ostentatious and expensive. The staff is professional and capable, but not as open and welcoming as at less ostentatious hotels, such as the Sirkeci Konak. A weak point for tourists is that the location is isolated from shopping, eating and cultural attractions. Dolmabahce Palace and Taksim Square, the closest points of... More

The hotel was wonderfully situated if you want a quiet and elegant place to stay. Everything is in a short taxi ride reach. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast is a treat and the free turkish delight at the Concierge desk just so delicious. They really took great care of us. We had a wonderful corner room overlooking the... More

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton, Istanbul for 6 nights. The room was excellent. We had a 1 Bedroom suite. Bosphorous View is worth the extra money. We thought the staff was excellent. However, we found the location a little bit inconvenient. It is in the center of lots of things, but isolated by the hill it is on and... More

A most elegant hotel with exceptional staff. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the Bosphorous! Wonderful.
