I spent a total of seven nights at Uyan Hotel in March-April 2014. From the rooftop terrace, there are magnificent views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and glimpses of the Sea of Marmara and the Asian side of Istanbul are visible beyond the rooftops. All of the "must see" Old City sights are less than 10 minutes' walk... More

First of all, not everyone expects the same of an accommodation. Meaning, if I like something, it doesn’t mean that you (the reader) will also like this hotel. We chose this hotel, because it’s proximity to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. This was our third trip to the city. We enjoy to look at these buildings a lot -... More

I stayed in room 201 for 4 nights in March. Front desk service: The service at the front desk is very good. I booked a Bosphorus Cruise through them. When the shuttle didn't pick me up, they called the cruise operator to see what's going on (without me asking them) Free breakfast: Some of the items included in the breakfast:... More

We flew Turkish Air for the first time and had a forced layover both ways. We stayed at the Uyan Hotel on our way back to the States. It was a bit far from the hotel (about 30 minutes) so the cab ride was more expensive but we were able to see some sights along the way. The drive took... More

We absolutely loved this hotel! It was quaint, clean, and couldn't have been in a better location. The staff were very friendly and even upgraded us at no charge to the Blue Mosque Suite! The daily breakfast was fresh and delicious. A street of amazing restaurants is less than a block away and all major landmarks are within a five... More

This hotel is very well located, right next to the Blue Mosque! The staff is nice and helpful. Cute and delicious restaurants around it. Our room was nice and clean. Great breakfast! It needs a better atmosphere or ambience at the reception area, it has pretty average decor but could look great with little effort and this is what could... More

This is one of many heritage hotels tucked away in Sultanahmet behind the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. Right in the middle of the tourist center, the rooms are fine and the terrace cafe is beautiful. The breakfast was nice and homely and the service good.

As most reviews indicate, the best thing about this hotel is its position in the old city of Sultanahmet. For someone wanting to see the best attractions in limited time, this is the best place to stay at. The rooms are basic, with no coffee or tea facilities, but they are clean. The staff is very helpful. It is also... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location, set a 2 minute walk from both the Blue Mosque and from Hagia Sofia, and 5 minutes from TopKapi. It had very nice, helpful staff. The rooms were clean and nice. However the lights were a little dim. The breakfast was adequate. The rooftop view was amazing, of both the Blue Mosque and... More

The location for visiting the local attractions couldn't be better the blue mosque etc are within a few minutes walk. Breakfast was ok eating on the roof terrace made it more enjoyable.
