Ten reasons I love the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet 1. Amazing staff. Happy to help with anything at any time. They are a real credit to Turkey and the Four Seasons. 2. Location. Walking distance to the major sites. 3. Value. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. 4. Beautiful, super clean room and luxurious bathroom.... More

Had a week here and can echo all the positive reviews. Staff were very helpful with all details taken care of, helped with restaurant recommendations and would be knowledgeable about the city. We had colds when we were there and they even recommended ginger tea and brought it to us in the lobby free of charge! Brilliant location, walked everywhere... More

It was such a pleasure to visit this wonderful hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet. The staff is lovely and the building, a former prison, is gorgeous. In my opinion, there is no other luxury hotel in Istanbul. However, I haven't been to the new St. Regis.

Perfect location for walking tour of Istanbul's most important historical sites. Woke to the early call to prayer feeling very refreshed, breakfast at the hotel and set out for full days tour. Beautifully restored and redesigned former prison. Quiet, spacious rooms, fab linens, and all round perfection. Staff was very attentive and helped us with our lost baggage, restaurant recommendations,... More

Because I had never been to this city, it was difficult to decide what the best location was. Luckily, this hotel is in the city's main touristic center, five minutes away from Hagia Sophia and not too far away from the airport (30min by car). We got the Presidential Suite for one fourth of its actual price, however, it is... More

The location of this hotel puts you in the heart of all the major attractions in the old city. We walked everywhere. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious. We were on the ground floor but our room was quiet and faced the colorful garden. The staff are amazing! We arrived very early and they took us... More

My wife and I spent four glorious nights at the hotel. Every detail is attended to from fresh fruit and nuts each night to bookmarks for your books. The staff greet you by name. Anything and everything was possible. We have some dietary requirements and they accommodated them superbly, heating food we brought with us from NY. One of the... More

This is my 3rd trip to Istanbul, however the first for a vacation with family. The Four Seasons at Sultanahmet was a perfect location for a week visit as a tourist. The service was amazing with extras every day that were always a delight. Everyone was extremely helpful with making our stay perfect for every family member and helping to... More

After many narrow, windy, single lane streets, we weren't sure if we would get there. Don't drive yourself around here, it is crazy. We were in Istanbul for 5 nights and we could not decide which Four Seasons Properties to stay at, so we split our time between this property and the Four Seasons at the Bosphorous. We feel so... I only stayed here for a night whilst in Istanbul on a business trip, I wish I'd have stayed longer! All aspects of this hotel are fantastic, from the concierge, to the reception desk. My room was lovely, luxurious, with a plate of Baklava and dried fruits to welcome me, and some bottled water. Mini bar was well stocked, and... More
