We wanted to stay in the old part of the city for the first portion of our trip at a hotel that is close to everything and this was the perfect selection. It is literally within a few steps of the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque. Due to it's proximity to the sites, you can go early or... More

From the rooftop restaurant, you can see the Hagya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Sea of Marmaris! The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is excellent. the perfect place to stay in Istanbul.

LOCATION This may well be the best feature of the hotel. Nearly anything in the old part of the city can easily be reached by walking from the hotel. For those who wish to use transport, taxis are always nearby and there is a tram line which circles around the old town. At the main street (approximately 5-10 minutes from... More

Traditional style hotel with large rooms and very comfortable beds in very central but quiet location adjacent to all the main sights and very near good restaurants and bars. Breakfast was adequate buffet style on the roof which had amazing views of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Everything within easy walking distance but don't take your high heels! Staff at... More

Love, love this place. I've stayed here for over 10 years. Highly recommend it. I love the old Sultanahmet area. Staff is very attentive and the view from the roof top dining is the best. If yu ant a treat, order the salt baked fish...all of the fish is caught daily and is wonderful.

We just visited the restaurant with the great roof terrace. Great view on the Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and Bosporus accompanied by good food. That was all we wished for on our last lunch in Istanbul. Good service too. Thanks Ismail!

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. In the old town walking distance to the blue mosque and st Sophia. The rooftop restaurant has the best view in Istanbul, although the food is pretty average - we went up for a drink and were ignored, they could do more with it. The room was spacious and clean. Very good... More

We were lucky to find this hotel a long time ago and since then we have always stayed here whenever in Istanbul. The location is perfect and the hotel is charming. Try to have a room with a balcony to either side, you will have either the Bosphorus or or one of the two beatiful buildings in sight. Same for... More

We did our homework. Knew the location was going to be great and were prepared for the facility to be average. What a pleasant surprise! Upon arrival we received a complimentary upgrade to a suite (no extra charge). The location was amazing (we had a great view of Hagia Sophia from our pillows, from our balcony also had a great...
