All in all a great stay, beautiful hotel, the rooms are a bit outdated and could do with some refurbishing. The pool area is very nice and the breakfast is great.

First of all this is one of the lower end "Leading Hotels of the World" properties I have been in. Staff is exceptional and tries very hard to please. The buffet breakfast is one of the best I have ever experienced (see my review of Shangri La Cebu, Philippines for the other). The rooms are getting a little tired, but...

Having just returned from a week's stay at the Swissotel The Bosphorus, I was really surprised on a number of accounts...
The Swissotel The Bosphorous is five stars and part of the Leading Hotel of the World collection... Couldn't help but wonder if the hotel is holding on to these ratings for posterity's sake or the 'judges' have seriously changed...

Fantastic, luxury hotel with extremely attentive staff. The hotel has a grand scale from the moment you enter the lobby and lounge which cascades down to the restaurant and the floor to ceiling glass that gives you lovely views of the Bosphorus. You feel like you're staying in a very luxurious hotel very quickly. Very helpful staff, i was on...

Our room was spacious and luxuriously appointed with traditional european style fittings and furnishings. We visited Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque which are both a short distance away. The buffet breakfast was good. The staff are warm and welcoming and...

I don't really think that anyone would be sorry to stay in this hotel. The location is great, just walking distance to Nisantasi where you can shop from the best boutiques, Dolmabahce Palace is right across the hotel, you can see it from your room. I have stayed in executive rooms and the room service was just perfect. Staff is...

Beautiful hotel with excellant customer service. We had a problem with our room - paint fumes from renovations in one of the towers. The management immediately upgraded us - without hesitation. You will enjoy the old European charm and luxurious accomodations. Just watch out for expensive prices for snacks at the pool.

Also the great view to the Bosphporus.Once we saw the submarine on the water crossed the Bosphorus. On other side you can see Beshiktas stadium, it's 5 minutes walk downstairs. Historical district the Sultanahmet is about 10-15 minutes by...

I enjoyed staying at the Swissotel, the spa is very good, I liked the temperature on the swimming pool, they are always too cold to my taste, this was perfect. The breakfast was good, an attractive restaurant and attentive personnel. The hotel is ample and has wonderful views of the Bosphorus.
Internet access too expensive, I was able to connect...
