I was in this dump for almost 22 days. It's not what I was expected.very dirty and had some kind of germs.and dorms contain 10 beds instead of 6.It was my worst hostel that I ever been.there are many nicer hostels in the city.............

We had a private room with own bathroom. Overall, our stay was good - the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff was helpful and nice. There was a kitchen and common area which we could, but did not use, but it looked really nice. Very close to the Taksim square and walking distance to all the main... More

It was a four days stay in Istanbul and we took a double room with a bathroom. The room was pretty clean, very comfortable bed. The location is perfect for those who want to stay in Beyouglu part, though there's a FINDIKLI tram station 5 min walk from the hostel and 10 min to KABATAŠ ferry station - super convenient... More

We couldn't dream the hostel is actually as great as we read on the reviews. Right near Taksim Square, and just a little walk away from Findikli tram station, which is by the Bosphorus. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean, no noise, heater, free wifi, good beds and sheets. What we really loved beyond the actual place, is the location,... More

This hostel is definitely worth every penny they are asking. Excellent location 5 min walk to Taksim Square (very, very, very steep hill to climb and descend). The owner is very nice and accommodating. We arrived at midnight and our room was given away (wasn't aware this would be a problem). He came all the way from his home to... More

I really loved this place. Stayed in a dorm for 10 days. Amazing view from the rooftop terrace. You can actually see the Bosphorus from there. Staff guys are great as well. All friendly and willing to help. Prices for Istanbul are reasonable. The place is clean, though they have 2 lovely dogs living in there, with the staff. So... More

This hostel is located a 2min walk from Findikli Metro station, which is only about 5 stops to Eminonu and Sultanahmet. The room itself was fine, however wifi did not work in the room. Wifi worked on the rooftop terrace, however even then not the fastest speed. Staff were generally helpful when we asked questions and the owner called us... More

Owner is making up fake €/TL rate (1€=TL) saying it's a way to be protected from evolving €/TL rates. Best way not to be be ripped off is to avoid it! Otherwise, the situation is good but not very clean and very noisy.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
