The hotel is a remodelled old ottoman house a stone's throw away from the Blue Mosk, Hagia Sophia, etc. Great location!! The quality of a good night's sleep depends very much on whether the hotel is fully booked and where one has their room. I would strongly recommend booking a room on the top floor as it is a tiny... Small lovely hotel, polite and helpful staff, warm welcome, tasty breakfast prepared everyday with some new options by sweet local ladies, clean and nicely decorated rooms, everyone is prepared to help you. It is wood house, so recommend earplugs or room in the last level.

Excellent service from the staff, very kind and friendly. The location is awesome, just five mins from the Blue Mosque. The hotel has not got your typical hotel finish, instead it boasts character which was a delight! Great rooms, lovely bathroom and overall fantastic!

Oba Hotel is small, relaxed, and perfect in all the ways that matter. Oba helped us out in 2 ways that meant the world to us, firstly when our plans had to change and secondly so... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and were delighted with the large room, sumptuous decor and excellent location. We walked to all of the major sights - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, basilica Cistern, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar, etc. We received excellent advice on where to eat and generally how to get around. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.... More
