The hotel is very nice. White, modern room with the view on the Bosphorus with a huge terrace and garden. Delicious breakfasts, elegant restaurant with panoramic views, delicious lamb, excellent service. What I disliked was the shower, every time after a shower the whole floor flush with water. The hotel is on the hill, down the hill 10 minutes and... More

We stayed at the Opera Hotel from July 14th to 19th. We had a deluxe double Bosphorus view room ( room 602 ). The room was a good size and was nicely decorated in a minimal brown-beige-white contemporary style and because the hotel is built on the side of a hill, we had a fantastic view of the Bosphorus straits,... I had to spend a weekend in Istanbul to meet colleagues, but wanted to take advantage of the trip to be in the centre and yet have the chance to exercise. The Opera has a great fitness centre with all amenities, spa/sauna and pool (I didn't find many in this price range!) - if you need to use the fitness... More

My husband and I stayed at the Opera hotel for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. When choosing our hotel we were specifically wanted a Bosphorus view and a balcony to enjoy it, and we were not disappointed! We booked a queen room with jacuzzi which cost a little more but it was worth it. Our view was amazing... More

That story with "view to Bosfor " is only available to rooms on that side, but the hotel has half of rooms to a very noisy street. My room had an unpleasant smell (coming from bathroom) and was impossible to change, because of fully booked hotel. Breakfast was good, all sort of choices.Air con is indispensable because is impossible to sleep... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Opera Hotel in Istanbul and loved it. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Taksim Square. Our suite was a Queen corner suite on the 7th floor overlooking the Bosphorus with a huge jacquzzi bath and balcony with fantastic view. The welcome at the hotel, the breakfast, the room itself were... More

I stayed 5 days and 4 nights at the opera hotel - Taqseem Sq - Istanbul and i can tell you it is the worst hotel i ever lodged in 35 years of travelling in 33 countries . The rooms are filthy and unclean . The Staff is the worst you can encounter and is Bakhchiche oriented .The corridors leading... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It is a stylish, small boutique hotel with nicely decorated rooms. Try to get rooms on floors 4 and above. We had a standard room on the 5th floor with wonderful views on the Bosphorus and the Asian part of Istanbul. We had a small terrace where we could sit outside and... More
