Don't get fooled by the beautiful architecture. Apart from that, the Adahan hotel it's one of the worst places I've ever been. We arrived at 11.30 p.m from a three days tour in Kappadocia, pretty tired. We have booked a Business Room (cheapest of all the options availables) but when we went into we found a single bed (impossible to... More

The vibe in this place is great. The rooms are amazingly restored and keep all the historical elements while complimenting with great bathroom etc. The breakfast and restaurant area on the roof has an amazing view and the food is great. Best thing is the location though - very quiet but central to everything around Galata. We found this place... More

Adahan is a well kept secret for a memorable stay in Istanbul. The hotel offers uniquely decorated rooms furnished with traditional Ottoman style. The management makes best efforts to use purely organic material including all cotton beds, sheets, curtains, bathroom supplies, etc. The hotel was built in a nicely renovated and refurbished historical building dating back some 200 years in... Newly renovated boutique hotel, perfectly located near trendy Istiklal street without being too close to the bustle and noise. Set back on a quiet side street surrounded by lovely restaurants. One block from the metro and taxi stand. Room was peaceful and sunny. Hardwood floors and furniture hand crafted from fallen timber scented the room with a soothing, earthy aroma.... More

I loved the atmosphere at this beautifully renovated hotel. The rooftop restaurant, the friendliness of the owners, the minimalist esthetics, the site (very central) - dreaming of going back as soon as possible.

We really liked the Adahan, the staff were lovely, very helpful with restaurant bookings etc. It's a very buzzy area, but we had no street noise as the room was on a central lightwell, this might be a downside as the lightwell has a glass roof, so you are obliged to use the A/C. This was not a disappointment for... More

It is the first time I write a review here and I registered specifically for that. Adahan is an amazing jewel, worth discovering. It is a master of art house that has been renovated with not only talent but heart and passion. The rooms are simply decorated, yet with a lot of taste, letting history and the architectural elements reveal... More

The hotel itself is beautiful, arty and clean. We stayed here for 4 nights and booked the Superior room per other travelers' recommendations. The room was large, private and clean. We loved the bathroom and having more space helped for a longer stay. The location was perfect, it's really central to the metro, walking distance to old city, Taksim square,... More

Loved the Adahan - staff were so helpful and polite - the area is very hip and fun and all together I would highly recommend. Rooms on the street were a bit noisy at night despite being on a small charming street but that's to be expected in a big city. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

The owners have produced a quiet, comfortable environment here. The front desk start it all off, with friendliness and offers of help. Rooms are clean, tidy, and have everything we needed. Good bed; environmentally friendly everything; safe, great free wifi with a wired lead too, to by-pass the wifi signal. I like that. Breakfasts (included) are just right: plenty of... More
