Horrible staff who were completely unhelpful and rude. I have stayed in many hotels in Istanbul and this is the WORST. The location is the only good thing about the hotel - but don't be suprised if your reservation is canceled TWO days before your trip as happened to our friend through air b n b. The hotel is notorious... More

Stayed in this hotel in the first week of march'15 in the best room they had. Hotel is nice, at least if you take the rooms on the top floor with the terrace and the view of the river. However, the staff at the front desk is very casual. They put us in the wrong room initially even though we... More

We stayed in Hotel El Blanco. The location I mus say is good as it is walking distance from the Blue Mosque in the Sultanahmet district. You can basically travel by tram if you stay here. However, my rant is about the rooms themselves. The one we had was super small in size and I mean SUPER small. It was... More

I stayed at the hotel during march this year. I had made a reservation via Internet. The hotel made a mistake and did not cancel the reservation fee of U$S 90. So I was double charged this amount. I sent a message to the Hotel and never got a reply or refund on my Mastercard!

Don't expect this place have a hotel standard by western means. It has a good price for the location and if that is what you are looking for then it's okay but if you want any comfort whatsoever look elsewhere. This place is just one step above a hostel, which was fine for us being a couple without children travelling... More

I enjoyed my stay at El Blanco. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was amazing! I had the penthouse - room 301. It has it's own balcony which overlooks the Blue Mosque. It's a great space. The decor is a little shabby but it is a great location.

Everything was perfect. Good location, good and friendly staff. The hotel itself is warm n cozy. love it. value for money. Plus, there are plenty restaurants and gift shops around to satisfy your taste bud and shopping needs. a few convenience shops are also in vicinity.
