Don't expect this place have a hotel standard by western means. It has a good price for the location and if that is what you are looking for then it's okay but if you want any comfort whatsoever look elsewhere. This place is just one step above a hostel, which was fine for us being a couple without children travelling... More

I enjoyed my stay at El Blanco. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was amazing! I had the penthouse - room 301. It has it's own balcony which overlooks the Blue Mosque. It's a great space. The decor is a little shabby but it is a great location.

Everything was perfect. Good location, good and friendly staff. The hotel itself is warm n cozy. love it. value for money. Plus, there are plenty restaurants and gift shops around to satisfy your taste bud and shopping needs. a few convenience shops are also in vicinity.

We didn't stay at Hotel el blanco, only because we didnt know of its existence. If we were to return to Istanbul we would definitely consider staying here. However, during our 4 day visit we chose to eat here every night. The staff were amazing.. so welcoming.. so friendly. We were even given blankets one night when it was cold.... More

We didn't stay in the hotel itself, but ate and drank here most evenings. The staff were really friendly and good company. Would probably stay here next time we visit Istanbul as perfect location and looked lovely

Much as my arrival was at dawn, there was a warm welcome. For all the 7 nights spent at El Blanco, there was warmth at every stage. The staff are quite friendly and ready to help with all challenges e.g the money exchange rates, a few Turkish important words to help one get along. The little Hotel is close to... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in August (€47 a night with breakfast). The location cannot be beat! Close (walking distance) to all of the popular attractions - Blue Mosque, Basicilia Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Topyapi Palace. Also 5 minutes walk to waterfront, tram etc. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. We would recommend getting a shuttle from the... More

Hi everybody! We find a deal by this hotel so I booked it imediatly thinking about the location and already writed reviews. From the begining everything was wonderful. They waited for us keeping free the parking place (remember we are inside the walls of Constantinopole). I felt that they know who we are and beside that they recognized us immediatelly... More

We really lucked out in our choice of this hotel. It's literally just a few blocks away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and palace, on a pretty street with minimal vehicle traffic but lots of interesting shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is small but charming. Rooms are basic but clean and quiet with good AC. Meals are served... More
