Though The hotel was small, but it's opulence, comfort, service of the staff and the amazing location made up for everything...... It was situated nearby the famous istiqlal Street on taksim..... The shopping hub..... With young children, it was already difficult to walk in a relatively hot weather, but it's proximity to taksim made it convenient to walk and enjoy... More

Hotel and Facilities: the Hotel has been developed luxurious ottoman style. It features a rooftop with a view of the city (including the old city). The location was for us the right choice. Near Galata and half way from the old city and the shopping and commercial area. Gym and Turkish SPA are well kept and managed. I enjoyed a... More

The Rixos Pera was our first stop in Turkey. It's location was one block from Taksin Square which has all the restaurants and nightlife. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and when our room wasn't ready they offered us complimentary drinks. The spa was amazing...with Hamam, steam rooms, and professional massages. Truely a find! The breakfast was... More

I've stayed at several Rixos before for business, but this Rixos in Pera - the cultural and social hub of Istanbul - is like none other I have ever seen. Both in terms of decor, service, and quality of food / drink, this is a luxury experience that puts Rixos Pera in a class alongside the region's leading 5-star hotels.... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
