We booked a suite at relatively short notice on a very busy weekend, the hotel was chosen mainly for its location a short uphill walk to Taksim square. Although the design is modern and bright, the materials used are not durable and so much of the property shows wear and tear. A leaking air conditioner in the bedroom was damaging... More

Very nice hotel , great staff, great breakfast , very close to good shopping , walk down the road to the tram, 3 stops to the blue Mosque , many great restaurants in this area, busy city but you can get around very easily. Overall had a great time here in Istanbul, made better by this hotel and staff at... More

This centrally located all suites residence facility offers a modern and comfortable stay in the heart of Taksim square. Our suite was a one bedroom, with a living room and fully equipped modern kitchen. Everything was spotless. The breakfast is offered in the basement, was good but can have more bread/bakery selection. The Staff are very helpful and serve you... More

Positives, good space, perfect location, most staff friendly and want to help. But miss the mark! Negatives. No elevator, breKfast starts at 9, bed is a brick, no room service unless asked for, even when asked more than once, poor internet reception. Room safe not bolted down. Clean room but rough around the edges. Better internet hooking in to something... More

We have just returned from a stay in this property. The hotel is fantastic for the price that you pay. We were surprised that are room featured a stove, washing machine Dishwasher and microwave. Breakfast is adequate although a little basic but the roof top terrace offers great views across the city. We found the staff friendly however they speak... More

I found this place on BOOKING.com as one of the cheapest near Taksim Square. The rooms are tiny, reachable over narrow, steep stair cases but the personnel is helpful with heavy luggage. The WiFi is good, A/C and heating are working, on TV mostly turkish channels although the guests are international. The shower is placed above the toilet bowl, not... More

On our trip we stayed in and looked at maybe 10 hotels in Istanbul. For our budget, this was by far the best. Taksim sqaure, the center of the city, is about 100m away. All the necessities like aircon and shower are of course in top order, the rooms are clean (new?) and the atmosphere is nice and cosy. Other... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. It's in the heart of everything. U don't need to go far for anything! We had the one bedroom apartment, equipped with a small kitchen and seperate lounge room. This was perfect for us. We appreciated the extra space as opposed to the smaller studios they offer. The breakfast is decent/basic and is on... More

Cosy bedrooms, all well equipped. Need to take your own coffee/tea if you want to have it in the room. Very clean and well maintained place. Ask for balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful even though we arrived at 1:00 a.m. While leaving also assisted in getting a cab etc. Not much choice for breakfast. Price is good. If you... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
