I had been with my friends in March to visit Istanbul and we selected this hotel, Sayeban for our accommodation. Everything were extraordinary: the staff was extremely polite, the breakfast was very good (my friend and I are vegetarians and we had in the morning fried vegetable and fresh fruits to eat) and the rooms very cleaned also. It is... More

There was nothing absolutely horrible about out stay at the Sayeban, but there was nothing fantastic either, and several minor problems that would lead me to stay elsewhere if I return to Istanbul. The good: The room was clean, and the location of the hotel was fine. Breakfast was on a terrace with a beautiful view. The bad: wifi was... More

I visited Istanbul when I was on may way from Bangkok to Stockholm in December 2014. I booked this hotel online and had e-mail conversations with the manager about how to reach the hotel. Everything went smoothly. I arrived at this hotel very early, and met Yavuz, the hotel manager at the reception. He could not check me in early... More

If you are looking for excellent value and hospitality, clean cotton sheets and fabulous views with amazingly generous breakfasts this is for you. Set in a fascinating shoe making neighbourhood with local shops, park and café, and within easy walking to all the Sultanahmet sights. We had amazing time at this hotel. Everybody was friendly, especially Yavuz (General Manager) who was so helpful, he went out of his way to make our time wonderful. The hotel has a great location in the old part of the town, close to many attractions and also with good restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Our room was nice, clean... More

We had a great stay at Sayeban. Despite our unexpected (very) early arrival in Istanbul we were warmly welcomed in the hotel at 07AM. General manager mr. Ozhasar quickly came over to help us in person, found our booking and helped us to our modern room where we could lay our tired heads way before the official check in time.... More
